The gite hotel was lovely, and cosy on a very cold night. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and provided a wonderful home made breakfast, including crepes, jams, yoghurt, bread and brioche. The location was in very pretty and peaceful countryside. We would recommend this location to all family and friends

One of the best holiday accommodation we have experienced. Lovely staff, great surroundings, combination of privacy and service when needed/asked for. New, modern, great technology and beds inside, beautiful old vibe environment. Dordogne is extremely charming, I do think car is necessary. People in this region were sweet to us, much more pleasant than in other parts of France.

We loved everything! We chose the Zen room which was wonderfully large with all the furnishings you might need. There was a desk, a bench, loads of pillows and cushions. and I loved the low armchairs, the perfect height for bending over to tie your shoes. The huge, round bathroom was really special, I loved the idea of it being in the tower. There was so much care and thought to the comfort of guests, every little thing was available. The grounds are so peaceful, it’s a real escape. But still close enough to everywhere for taking in the sights. The best of all was Laurie, the manager. She was always available, made us feel superbly pampered, she worked so hard to ensure we didn’t want for anything. The email she sent me on arrival was invaluable with information and tips on the area - what to see, where to eat, and so on. We loved the Dordogne and if we come back, we’d love to stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Domaine Du Roucou for a long weekend. The owners, Dominique and Christophe were very friendly and caring! Also their lovely pets Albus and Pepper were adorable. This is an amazing property in rural France. If you want a break away from the city, book this place. They have a number of rooms/ homes for you to stay in. They have a beautiful pool that we were not able to use because we only stayed one night. And we enjoyed walking around the small village where the property is located. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is also a lot to explore in the area.

Excellent location in Cenac within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and an excellent boulongerie. Serge and Mireille are excellent hosts and gave us lots of information about the area as well as serving us a delicious breakfast each morning including freshly baked items. Room was on the ground floor and was spotless as was the whole property. A lovely garden was also available to relax in if you wanted. Spectacular villages/towns within easy driving distance away. Free parking in large car park at rear of property always available.
