I have booked this hotel a few months in advance because I wanted a hotel with SPA and close to the lake. 🤩🏞 Location 📍: The hotel is very well placed at the shores of Gerardmer Lake. It is easy to find on the way, it is very well placed, at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other interest points. Facilities 🛏 : The hotel offers nice cozy rooms with or without view to the lake. I have chosen a room with a stunning view to the lake and mountains 🏞. In the room you have a small fridge, a kettle, shower, toilet, and balcony. In the hallways, you will find water dispensers. The hotel has a private parking space 🚘 and a heated pool. You will receive a nice card holder with the access card for the room, the password for the internet, and the code to enter the building after 23:00. Extra services🪔: the hotel offers SPA services (sauna, hamam, jacuzzi🛁) for an extra charge and with reservation🕔. They also offer massage 👐 or beauty services through an external provider. You can also choose to take breakfast 🥞🥖🥚🍶☕️there for an extra charge. Every service that you opt for will be paid at the end of your stay. 👍👏 You can also choose to have dinner at their restaurant Cote Lac, whose menu📋 you will find in your room. The staff 👧: I have found the staff very respectful, helpful, welcoming, and ready to help with any information. Gerardmer is a tourist town with two seasons - summer and skiing. We knew we were there between seasons, so the town was quiet. But that suited and our main aim was to get a flavour of the Vosges. Plenty of good walks albeit a bit wet when we were there.

disappointed in the ski area: lots of lifts are not functioning, despite enough snow and vacation period, including the second larger cable lift. as a consequence, in case of good weather, extremely long waiting lines.

Lovely chalet just outside Gerardmer that we used to explore the area by motorcycle. It was clean, well appointed and had great outside space. The host was very helpful and quick to reply to any queries or help needed.
