Ghisonaccia has really beautiful white, long and clean sandy...

Ghisonaccia has really beautiful white, long and clean sandy beaches and very nice pinewood forests that invite for long walks. I was surprised to find in mid September only a few people at the beach :-) There is also a big Leclerc supermarket and a Spar supermarché in the town center. Unfortunately there is from morning to evening a constant flow of cars from Bastia towards the south through Ghisonaccia. So it's unfortunately not really nice in the center. There is also no possibility of renting a bycicle - but to be honest, you wouldn't want to drive on the main road either.

I liked the seaside location, the pool, and the guaranteed, secure parking. I didn't like the cleanliness and the limited supplies available, as well as the obvious lack of a bidet. Finally, a washing machine would be better than an oven; the dishwasher (which I use often) is a great idea.

The accommodation has a perfect location right by the sea.

The accommodation has a perfect location right by the sea. The town is not far away and easily accessible by bicycle or car. There are many excellent shopping opportunities – the supermarket is even open on Sundays – and the food in the restaurants is very good. We received a very friendly welcome everywhere we went.

Everything was as advertised: the pool was nearby and cleaned every morning, the kitchenette was equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and other accessories, the comfortable mattresses, the private parking with an automatic gate, the beach with direct access from the garden, and the large garden with children's playground.

A small seaside town with easy traffic in June, offering all the necessary shops. Highly recommended is L'OASIS restaurant on the road to the sea. The small markets nearby are very pleasant. The beaches are deserted (in June) and superb.

Accommodation OK, beach superb, on-site restaurant excellent (takeaway food also possible), pool okay but the towel-reserving should be curbed. Unfortunately, the neighboring resort has a disco or entertainment until midnight, which can take some getting used to.

The host contacted me the morning of our arrival and accommodated our needs to check-in early and even upgraded our room to allow us to come early. The owner of the hotel was incredibly nice. We have four small children and sometimes feel judged with so many kids running around, but this place was very welcoming and charming. The rooms were big and cozy and very clean. There is a lot of parking literally across the street of the hotel. The pool was quaint and fun. The beaches nearby were great and a lot of restaurants nearby too. We loved it.

Great host, old lady who really took care of us and made us feel like at home. She welcomed us with cold water prepared in the fridge, homemade marmelade and Corsean cookies. Kids could you the swimming pool, swings, play outside in the garden and we could enjoy the outside peace and watch them. It was lovely staying there.

Pool area was amazing, like a 5-star hotel, right on the beach - kids and us adults loved it, perfect! The beach also was lovely, warm ocean with some small waves for fun. Not overcrowded. The staff at reception were very friendly also. Apartment had a dishwasher and clothes washer which were excellent and very useful.

Very clean and well equipped apartment. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. The beach is 5 minutes walking away from the location and although is not one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica is very clean and not crowded (mid June). The dogs are also allowed, so this was a highlight for us.
