I loved this place, and especially their beautiful garden. We sat there each evening. Pascal and Katherine are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. My French improved a lot, as I spoke it a each day. It is an area with little English. Pascal's food was delicious too. Breakfast was huge! Please be aware, that you really need a car here. We were aware and travelled a lot. It is a lovely and quiet part of France. This, for us, was the perfect place for what we wanted.

Beautiful house and gardens with patio, outdoor furniture and barbecue in a lovely setting. It had everything we needed for our stay and was a great base whilst in France for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Good location close to the motorway. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

Excellent service! Impeccable room and service, peaceful and green setting. Beautifully renovated and ideally located in this area: close to leisure activities, lovely walks, and places to visit.

Gommegnies is a village located on the edge of the Mormal...

Gommegnies is a village located on the edge of the Mormal forest; everything there is calmer and more peaceful. Just 10 minutes from the fortifications of Le Quesnoy (****) and 20 minutes from Bavay-la-Romaine (***) via the Chaussée Brunehaut, it offers a journey into history and a wonderful change of scenery.
