Wonderfull warm, friendly welcome of a lovely English couple, & their georgous dog Barny, everthing in our room was compleet, bed was soo comfortabel, bathroom is exquisit, the tranquility of the beautifull countryside, couldn't have booked our stopover in a better place, as for the breakfast, a big wow, absolutely delicious, Viv & Clive thank you, so pleased we met you both, your hospitality is better than any 5 star hotel, 2 gems in viva la France😍

Although the owner said he didn't speak English well, he was brilliant. We were made so welcome, even considering he had a big family gathering that evening. We were looked after and well fed. If we return that way we will certainly be booking there again.

This is my second stay here. For me, it's a fantastic self-contained cottage. Gizelle is lovely, and nothing is too much trouble. The location is superb for me travelling to Southern Spain, Granada. My dog loves it too! Ideal for him as country lanes to walk nearby & very quiet. It's extremely warm in winter. Breakfast is really good. If you're careful & plan your route, you can avoid tolls!! Head to Poitiers on the route map first & then key in Eurotunnel, Calais. The drive takes you through beautiful little villages where you can stop off for coffee & a bite to eat. Plenty of history in the area & Melle town is only 4 minutes away. The ladies in the bread shop were extremely friendly. I didn't explore Melle as it was too cold & we'd had a long drive, so I just rested & caught up on sleep I need to re study French, though!! Xxx.

Our room, actually a flat at the loft, was spacy, equipped with all you would need (including slippers and bathrobes). Even the bathroom was large. The pool was nicely warm, so we could take a swim in September. Breakfast was tasty and perfect for us! We appreciated especially the pressed orange jus and the home-made lemon jam. Last, but not least, the Hostess was so nice and welcoming and caringly, taking so good care of us. We We’ll definitely stay here next time we come to Chef-Boutonnne. Thank you! … one tiny special observation: the wardrobe had ENOUGH clothes hangers (not common in many hotels).

We have just arrived back from a wonderful stay at Moulin De Coupigny. The accommodation, facilities and service was exceptional and would recommend. It is a really beautiful property with gorgeous gardens! I loved the decor. We will be back!

Very Comfortable clean rooms in a peaceful location.

Very Comfortable clean rooms in a peaceful location. Very comfortable communal lounge with constantly refuelled wood fire. Hosts are extremely available and attentive should you need a drink from an extensive menu with Belgian beer a speciality. A real highlight would be the evening meal offered by the hosts. Walter is a Belgian chef and produces a high restaurant standard meal for a very reasonable price...not to be missed. Also the breakfast is varied and substancial.. The gardens also offer terraces and a pool with landscaped areas. Simple put this is the best french B@B we have ever stayed in, and it offers way more than B@B.
