The owner was a real gentleman very helpful as it was comfortable warmed up before I got there the bed was lovely to sleep in the kitchen was clean and tidy the bathroom had hot running water instantly everything about the Gite was great the owner even booked a restaurant for me upon my arrival as I was initially concerned that I wouldn’t get dinner in the evening because it was out of Strasbourg city centre and in the countryside this meant the morning was peaceful and quiet without the hustle and bustle of the city for a couple looking for Tranquility and a good night sleep it’s perfect I made a mistake booking this property I had originally thought I was booking somewhere in town Or close to Strasbourg centre but the owner very quickly put me at ease and even offered to cook me a nice breakfast the following morning unfortunately I was leaving a little bit too early and didn’t want to put him to any bother so I missed out on the breakfast I probably won’t stay there again but I would recommend other people do because it really is truly nice I’m travelling and stopping in Strasbourg as a halfway point between West France And the Czech Republic And regularly stop in Strasbourg it’s a beautiful city and this was a beautiful little country village well recommended

Really lovely place that is very clean, modern and comfortable. Newly refurbished big room with a nice bathroom and the house was so peaceful and quiet we slept like babies. We had the breakfast which we couldn't fault, all in all good value for money.

Excellent accommodation, it's fully equipped, comfortable and all house amenities work perfectly. There is a little outside area to relax and enjoy the peaceful environment. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts also welcomed and helped us upon arrival. I totally recommend this place.

The apartment was big enough for 8 of us, very clean and well heated in winter. It is upstairs in an Alsacian house which is tastefully renovated with quality materials. It had everything we needed, including baby gear like bed, stroller, high chair. We spent Christmas there and felt very homey. Excellent value for money. We also enjoyed the location in Bilwisheim, a 20 minute drive from the Christmas markets in Strasbourg and few minutes to a beautiful forest.
