we had a suite, very large enormous bedroom with sitting area and small kitchenette which is off to the side and reasonably equipped for use. Very large bathroom equipped with step less wet room, 2 sinks and a high toilet with support rails. so it seemed suitable for anyone in need of these facilities. There is a second bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobes. Outside terrace both front and back and access to the walkway along the canal where there were boats moored. Beautiful grounds, loads of parking and the hotel restaurant was good and inexpensive

The place was nice, charming, we enjoyed the breakfast and the kindness of the hosts. We liked the fact it was just next door to "le domaine de Montremy". The bedroom was beautiful and really adapted for a baby, as well as the bathroom. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy much the garden, but it was nice to see it while having our breakfast ! The host were available for us and for any requests, and they are very friendly. If you want to know what you can do in the neighborhood, do not hesitate to ask. Finally our baby boy enjoyed to look for the 2 cats ! Note : Für meine deutschen Freunde, der Gastgeber spricht auch Deutsch! ;)

A beautiful city at the heart of a region that deserves to be explored. There are activities for all tastes. Beautiful, unspoiled nature (lakes, forests, bird sanctuaries...) and a land steeped in history with exceptional architecture.

Joinville is worth a visit; it's a town steeped in history, with a castle, beautiful houses, and picturesque alleyways, all easily explored on foot. It deserves to be better presented. Many houses are empty, which is hard to understand given the quality of the location.

Eat at the small pizzeria on the terrace overlooking the river where you can see the pike-perch and zander. Stroll through the parks at night, and think that Joinville is one of those French gems that you'd love to discover more often...

The old town has interesting architecture and a very rich history. The riverbanks are very pleasant. There's a lovely park perfect for a stroll. There's a good selection of restaurants, ranging from fine dining to fast food.

We were met by the most friendly and helpful host who introduced us to the charming town of Joinville. The house itself was a beautiful, exceptionally maintained mansion of the 17th century with authentic furniture. Our bedroom was like a count's room that you would visit in castles. We enjoyed our very generous breakfast in the unusually beautiful living room overlooking the garden that oozes the rich past so characteristic of this region.

This hotel was a total surprise because you come into this little worse for wear town thinking OMG BUT upon entering the hotel the owner was welcoming, full of information etc... the hotel is very taste full and the evening meal was 1st class, the rooms are well appointed and clean we will go back 100% O the garage parking for our touring motorcycles was a massive bonus...

Accommodation is in a lovely old building and the rooms are beautifully furnished. Was a really pleasant find at the last minute after an issue with my bicycle during a cycle tour from the UK to Bologna meant I had an impromptu night in Joinville. The hosts were really friendly and helpful despite it being such short notice and a holiday in the area.

Great value for money: spacious room, with very comfortable bed. Easy parking, and friendly welcome. Delightful terrace restaurant at rear, with ambitious and reasonably priced cooking. Joinville has some charming corners, and is a pleasure to wander around.
