A beautiful Logis hotel, in a wonderful setting close to the magnificent old town of Collonges-la-Rouge. Our room decor was wonderful and unusually artistic. It was very hot when we stayed, so we were very grateful to have air conditioning in the room, a facility not often found in hotels of this kind in rural France. The owner and staff were very friendly and gave advice on the local area. We dined in the hotel on one night (the restaurant was closed on our first night) and enjoyed a lovely meal, sat outside on the raised terrace, with beautiful views.

Everything was quietly elegant about Le Relais St Jacques - rooms, bar, dining room and garden. Delightful place to stay, especially for the chance to wander the beautiful, deserted village at night. We upgraded the room on arrival as we opted for a bigger one - best decision. The room we had was more than spacious and super quiet. The hotel is lovely renovated and you can book a spa area (hamam and jacuzzi) for a private time there. Max 5min walk to the city center.
