Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed talking with the hosts and the wine tasting. Plus the suggestions they gave for things to do in the area was much appreciated. Hosts were very considerate of the fact that we could not arrive at our expected time but received us graciously when we finally arrived.

The property is large but cosy, a little kitsch but low key. Set in a pretty little village with views of the vineyards… a lovely place for a calm but upmarket stay. The staff are all amazing… We didn’t have dinner but the breakfast in the morning was stunning. All of the produce local or home made and absolutely delicious. We took probably 2 hours over breakfast as it was all so good and the atmosphere and staff just excellent.

This is a gem of a boutique hotel. It's tastefully and quirkily decorated, very comfy beds and pillows, and a beautifully warm bathroom. The restaurant gets very busy, so essential to book, plenty of menu choices and a vast wine list and the food is delicious, I imagine one could put on a few kilos if you stayed longer than we did! Thank you to the staff for accommodating us, after a minor communication breakdown meant our table reservation was not on the list, we were quickly housed in the hotel cave (wine shop) on the first floor, truly a private dining experience! Breakfast is fresh croissants, self-serve for boiled eggs and everything else. High quality tea (Frères Dammann) and great coffee. Really close to the Roche de Solutre, about an hour and a half for the round walk. Highly recommend this lovely place!
