The place itself is lovely, it feels very authentic and is nice and cool out of the sun. It felt very personal and like a family run establishment. The owners are kind and lovely people who went completely out of their way to help us. We had ordered a taxi for a wedding. We couldn’t find the taxi when it arrived so the man who works there came outside and walked around to help us look for it. He also called the taxi company on his phone as we don’t speak French. When it transpired that the taxi had gone to the wrong address to ensure that we didn’t miss the wedding his grandpa drove us himself. Without this kindness we would have completely missed the wedding! thank you again

Cosy, comfortable & friendly. The view was superb!! Staff were incredibly helpful. Loved the free number 8 bus to and from Marseille. Felt easy enough to get into city or up to St Zacharie the other way. Too cold for pool but would be great in summer.

Well, it's just a typical small French village on the main...

Well, it's just a typical small French village on the main road... You can eat in the hotel restaurant except on Sundays and Mondays – and the food is exceptionally good and delicious! At the southern end of the village there's a supermarket and a petrol station (fuel is cheap / checking tire pressure costs 1.50!!!).

The village itself isn't beautiful, but the surrounding area...

The village itself isn't beautiful, but the surrounding area is pleasant, and La Ciotat is nearby for swimming. Getting around isn't easy as there are lots of small roads; you might want to use Google Maps.

The owners are particularly attentive to our well-being.

The owners are particularly attentive to our well-being. The grounds, including the pool, are absolutely charming. The breakfast is worthy of a 4 or even 5-star hotel, perhaps even better, with homemade jam, homemade cakes, homemade yogurt, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! WILL RETURN! Close to Cassis, Marseille, and the motorway, so very convenient.
