Convenient location for all the sites in the region. Christian is a wonderful, helpful host. Unfortunately, my wife required hospital treatment and visits from a doctor at our holiday home, arranged by Christian. And he completed all the necessary paperwork to make a claim to a French insurance company.

The Hotel Montaigne was a popular hotel and very well run. The staff were excellent in giving us directions. Had a great breakfast with lots of choice. The parking was just down the street in your own private garage. In the centre with the pedestrian street and restaurants close by. Easy to get to the Caves and surrounding towns.

Hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, view from your terrace of a valley, where deer could be seen every day. Very nice room, with a lot of amenities, like Nespresso coffee-machine, very clean. Very hospitable and kind owners, who did everything they could to ensure you had a pleasant stay. Food in the restaurant was delicious, besides a la carte, every morning a menu du jour was presented, in which adjustments could be made, if you did not liked certain courses.

A wonderful and very special place. Claude and Mario looked after us beautifully. Delicious food, beautifully cooked, and a peaceful and delightful setting. This is a home from home. Don't expect a 5 star hotel but rather a wonderful couple who welcome you and make sure you are happy and comfortable and extremely well fed and looked after. We loved it here and very much hope we will be able to come back..
