Excellent breakfast with the freshly baked homemade bread. There are various choices for breakfast and everything is very tasty! Hotel is really awesome, room is clean, and very positive thing - guest has total control over room's A/C unit and el. radiator, which is very helpful to control the temperature by personal needs. Gym is opened 24/7 and it is very well equipped. Spa zone is new and clean and really good. The hotel staff is very friendly and approachable, very nice people :) All recommendations

Our 2 nights in the beautifully presented, huge Indies room of this regal Chateau, was a special experience. The view of the Estate's magnificent gardens from the bedroom window out to the fields beyond was stunning. The quirky, yet luxurious decor throughout the Chateau, the lovely shared sitting parlour, serene ambience and ample breakfast made for the perfect stay. We also pre-booked the dinner option one evening - a meal prepared by our delightful culinary host, Angélique, starting with Champagne and nibbles in the magical garden, followed by three further courses and wine - an absolute treat! Thank you again, Angélique!

Peaceful, green and cute unique accommodation. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cabins were super clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in Capucine and Mary Poppins. Nice outdoor facilities and pool too! Thank you.

I booked for 3 nights and loved it so much I stayed an extra night and wish schedule allowed me to stay longer! Traditional and rustic, this gem of a hotel-bar in a pretty village, with its lovely rooms that remind me of Vincent van Gogh paintings, and extremely kind and good-humoured owner, is a must-stay on your way through France. If you’re into pristine marbled floors and polished chrome then it’s NOT for you, but if, like me, you adore old mismatched wooden furniture, creaky floorboards, paint peeling off ancient shutters, pure cotton curtains, and a relaxed and homely feel, you will fall in love with this place and not want to leave! If in town on a Friday you must visit the outdoor market for rotisserie chicken and roast ham. There’s a glassblowing workshop that’s free to enter, the church is stunning as are the church gardens where I picnicked with my dog. There’s a gorgeous little village a 12-minute drive south called Sulaines-Dhuys, and 15 minutes north there’s a lake with a large birdwatching cabin and exhibition about local birds. Breakfasts are available at the hotel by arrangement (€6.50 coffee, juice, breads, jams or €9 with the addition of scrambled eggs and local ham). Also dinners by arrangement. Supermarkets, petrol stations, bakeries, etc., all close by. The internet is perfect for work video calls. My dog was made incredibly welcome. Thank you, Nadia, for your good-humoured kindness and for providing such perfect and homely accommodation. I’ll remember Hôtel Le Dervois fondly and hope I have the opportunity to return. :)
