Good clean straight to the point accommodation. Absolutely fabulous location for parking and walking / free bus to Mont St Michelle. Rooms extremely clean. Breakfast was spot on for what 4 adults and 6 children needed. Would definitely stay here again for the value. Front of house was very friendly.

The place is magical and very special.

The place is magical and very special. Enjoyed walking around the village and also on the grounds as well. The people there were very kind and welcoming. If staying on the island itself everything does close around 6-7pm and most of the tourists leave. This is a great time to go walking around taking photos and just enjoying the atmosphere. Most places don’t open the next morning til around 10-11am so don’t expect an early breakfast. Just an fyi, if you’re taking the train and the bussing system, you’ll have to walk across the bridge to the village on the other side. It took me 40 minutes(with luggage) to get to the bus stop. The Abbey itself is beautiful and it took me about 2 hrs to get through. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I look forward to returning one day with my family.

A must-see on the northern Normandy/ Brittany border.

A must-see on the northern Normandy/ Brittany border. Explore the twisty, narrow, steep streets. Step back in time with a visit to the abbey and enjoy delicious seafood- moules frites- overlooking the bay. Highly recommend

We arrived in late afternoon at hotel and toured island first in evening hours - great idea as less crowded and still light enough to wander the streets and alleys. Toured the abbey the next morning - around 11. Already getting crowded - should have started earlier. But well organized and flows well within the Abbey. Well worth the visit to see this unique and historic structure - magical.

A mesmerizing place that provides delights at every turn. This place is not recommended for people with mobility issues. Not only is it geared for people with the stamina to climb stairs and rather steep roads but the oppressive crowds make maneuvering, even for the able-bodied, difficult. Particularly avoid visiting in July and August, if you must gear your visit to the early morning or the evening when the tour bus crowds are away.

One of the most beautiful locations of the French seaside, matched with one of the most spectacular Castle/Abby I have ever encountered. I would place this even with Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. If you drive to the hotel, avoid the initial parking lot and call ahead to receive the code for your stay. You will be able to park much closer to your hotel room.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The shuttle bus stop is very near to the hotel and there are a few restaurants located within walking distance from the hotel, but for dinner reservation is required. Room size is ok, bed are comfortable with enough space for us to put our stuffs. Breakfast is 14 euro per person and we satisfied with the food selection. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The view at the river is nice but of course the view of Mount Saint Michel is the best!

Staying on the island is very worth it for the opportunity to explore in the evening when the crowds go home. Our family stayed in 2 rooms and there are no bad views it seems. Rooms were clean and comfortable and water bottles were provided. There is excellent ability to store your luggage before check-in or after check out. We had breakfast included with our stay which was also very good.

The Hotel located just right to the free shuttle bus stop to Saint Mont Michel. We drive to Normandy and we appreciate It has a lot of parking space just infront of the hotel! very friendly customer service and I am happy the hotel staff able to reserve a room on ground floor for older folks.
