We got the Chef’s inspiration for dinner and chose not to know what it was. We received the best 4 course meal I’ve ever had in my life! We had just hiked from Chamonix and it was well worth the hike for the food alone. When we arrived we were able to book in to have the sauna and jacuzzi to ourselves which was very much welcome after a long day walking. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will be back!

Wonderful stay! The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully arranged. We especially loved the stunning view of the mountains from the balcony. Very nice view of the Mont Joly , the windows of the apartment are pointed directly on that mountain. Hiking trails directly at the property, can hike at least 10km(one way) to the 'Refuge de Plan Glacier', like half of the hiking trails are quite wide and easy to walk on. That is pretty much the closest property that can be booked in order to hike to that scenic spot.

A pleasant village, it's a shame that quite a few things are already closed at the beginning of September (local shop (Le Lay), ski lifts, shuttle bus). Restaurants with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Numerous shops with local specialties. Ideal for walks, activity parks for children.

I was very happy with my stay; there's something for everyone, from easy walks to more challenging ones (I didn't do any other activities). There are a few grocery stores, restaurants, and if you've forgotten your hiking clothes, no problem, there are plenty of sports shops!

I insist that you should avoid the UTMB.

I insist that you should avoid the UTMB. Giving visitors a bad day, disguising a high-volume business and passing it off as a sporting activity... is unforgivable. Selling thousands of t-shirts doesn't justify the bad day they put so many people through. And without leaving aside the state in which the entire route taken by thousands of &"bona fide athletes".

A beautiful, relaxed family run hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and could not do enough for you. Options for breakfast or evening meals, which were both homemade and delicious. A bar downstairs and chill out space upstairs with activities for little ones. The rooms were basic but full of character and very clean. Very reasonably priced, we would of loved to have been able to stay longer. Thank you!
