Stunning architect designed hotel. Our first reaction was Wow! We were offered a room upgrade for £20 before we left England and glad we did, huge room with sofa. Restaurant was also stylish with great food at amazing value. Definitely a 4* hotel/restaurant. Loved it so much, wish we’d had time to sample breakfast and enjoy the spa/pool but had to rush off to next destination. Would change our route just to stay there again! Can’t wait. The town of Les Herbiers was also a delight, so clean, parts of it were very modern. Overall a real surprise and can’t recommend this hotel enough (late game of pool/table football after dinner was an added delight)

An exceptional small hotel with very modern and high quality interiors. The room (for a family of 4) was spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable and hotel itself was very peaceful. The staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating and check-in / check-out was fast & simple. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of local options. We stayed after spending a long day at Puy du Fou, which is only 10 minutes away, so the location is excellent and was a perfect place to rest & recharge. We recommend the hotel very highly.

Good location, very friendly and helpful welcome from the proprietor who was happy to help us with lending tools for our bike mechanical issues. We had two bikes which he let us store inside. Highly recommend this little two star hotel.

Beautiful location in quiet French countryside. Lovely, very characterful little timber "hobbit" unit containing a comfortable double bedroom and bathroom. Sufficient plugs for. devices, hot drinks. Sensibly, no indoor cooking facility. Decking with table and chairs. We had our simple cold breakfast in a small dining room. We ate at a busy Italian restaurant in Les Herbiers 5 minutes drive away and, in the other direction, it was a similar distance to Puy du Fou. We only stayed one night but perfect for a 2-3 day stay for the park. This is perfect for those who like quirky character in quiet countryside close to Puy du Fou.

We were going to Puy Du Fou, and the owner gave us the right tip to go there quicker. They gave us as well the right restaurant at Les Herbiers and I could appreciate the beauty of the city. So just one evening. The rest of our stay was for the Puy du Fou.

Disappointing...the room is large but the bed is too small,...

Disappointing...the room is large but the bed is too small, there are no amenities besides the TV, the bathroom is uncomfortable, the toilet isn't separate, there are no shutters on the windows and the curtains don't provide enough coverage.

We had dinner at the "Civilisations" restaurant.

We had dinner at the "Civilisations" restaurant. There was a musical evening, the staff were welcoming, and the food was excellent. We had a very pleasant evening. The hotel/B&B next to the restaurant is a great option; we should have chosen that hotel for our overnight stay.

Top-notch amusement park!! I'm always blown away by the sets and scene changes; the combination of water, fire, animals, and lights is unparalleled!! Special mention for "The Wedding of Fire" – a truly spectacular show!

This fairy-like place is everything it was advertised and more! Located 5 mins away from the Puy du Fou, it serves as a welcome, quiet resting place after a day in the middle of the masses in the park. The place is lovely, the cottages have everything you need to have a restful stay and the fresh breakfast every morning is the cherry on top. The owner is super nice and attentive and to be honest, the value you get in comparison to the park's hotels is huge. A must to anyone visiting the area.

Really nice modern very comfortable hotel. It has clearly only recently been built. We had a short overnight stay so can’t comment about the restaurant/breakfast/spa but the staff we met were friendly and helpful, the room facilities were excellent and the bed was very comfortable

This is was an incredible hotel, well located, beautiful, with the kindest people. We went to visit the Puy de Fous, it is a short drive there. We had our dog with us, he was treated like a king. 10/10.
