What truly sets this place apart is the personal touch. Run by the owners themselves, it offers a level of care and hospitality that’s increasingly rare. When we arrived late—nearly 11 p.m. on July 14th, a public holiday in France when everything was closed—the lady still went out of her way to prepare a meal for us. It was an incredibly kind gesture that made our stay genuinely memorable. The building is historic and full of charm, with beautiful shared spaces and the most romantic terrace overlooking a quaint little church. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the autoroute, yet it feels like a completely different world: quiet, picturesque, and full of character. The rooms are very clean, comfortably equipped, and the bedlinen is especially pretty. While slightly dated in style, they are well maintained and cozy. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying.

Location, hotel, room, parking, food and the owners were all superb. Felt homely and welcoming. The room was spacious and the owner very friendly and helpful. The food from the restaurant within the hotel was excellent and the outside restaurant terrace charming. Beautiful walk behind the hotel along the lake. So relaxing.

The food in the hotel is fantastic however there is a small bar just over the lane for a little pre dinner drinks or should I say a post walk-in drink with our little dog. The village is quiet and picturesque the real rural France.

The lady on reception/bar/restaurant (shr seemed to fo everything! She was very friendly and helpful. Good shower, heated towel rail, comfy bed..We were in an accessible room which had direct access to a disabled parking space, if needed, and easy.access to all facilities. Breakfast exceeded expectations and dinner was fine. Good wine! Hotel is very close to the motorway, but in a quiet area. Great as a stop off
