Outstanding gîte in the village of Combles. It's located next to the house where the owners live, very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. Actually, we were suprised by the size and comfort provided. The contact with the owners was also very relaxed and friendly. We felt welcomed, since our kid was allowed to play with their kids and use some of the toys in the garden. Since we were only on a stopover I can't say anything about the location as a base for activities in the region, but it seemed nice and we would like to come back for a weekend or so.

The property was perfect. The outside garden and internally everything was new and we could recommend the property to anyone. We would give the property 6 stars if we could. The property owners were courteous, helpful and responded to our questions promptly. We will be back.

Rural location, in the heart of Somme area, just what we were looking for. Nice continental breakfast was offered, and plenty of it. Area around the gite was very quiet and peaceful. Could easily spend a few days here in the summer, relaxing in the garden. Hosts were very welcoming.

Lovely house with a nice garden and outside dining area. Had everything you need and very spacious, clean and well maintained. Location was perfect for visiting the war memorials. Would defiantley recommend a stay here.

Longueval is centrally situated for the Somme battlefields...

Longueval is centrally situated for the Somme battlefields memorials and museums. The South African memorial at Delviille Wood was only a few hundred metres from our accommodation. The village is very quiet is very quiet but with an interesting restaurant.

A super friendly lady.

A super friendly lady. Even though she only spoke French, we could understand each other well. There was the opportunity to make coffee and tea and sit comfortably at the table. A comfortable bed and a great breakfast. It felt very welcoming. Highly recommended!
