    The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow,...

    The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow, the GPS found the hôtel easily. The parking area was spacious, and other residents friendly and of all nationalités. This hôtel was à real treasure situation in lovely Park Land. If you want to get away..and like calm..this is the place with lovely walks around.

    The property is set in its own grounds in a rural area a little off the beaten track. The room was small but equipped with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower over bath, wc and toiletries. The room was quiet and the optional breakfast provided everything you could need for the day ahead. Evening meal, again optional, was good food with ample choices and pretty good value for money. There is car parking on site in the grounds and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

    The couple who run the hotel are lovely, welcoming and open. The evening meal is fantastic. Worth staying there for that alone. We go back there every time we can. It's a useful 4 hours from the Calais Eurotunnel departure point. And 6 hours from our final destination in France. Slightly off the beaten track, but you get a beautiful rural country house garden setting for the couple of miles travel.

    it was difficult to make a judgement because apart from a late arriving and early departure guest we were alone in the hotel. They tried hard to oblige and were welcoming. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The situation was ideal for access to the Payage for onward drive towards Calais. Potential!

    The hotel is in the country and is quiet with a pretty garden. The entrance hall, restaurant and breakfast room feel very French with exposed beams and pale decoration. The evening meal was superb, both the choice , the actual food and the service. Breakfast also had a good range to choose from.

    Charming french hotel in the quiet countryside. Friendly helpful staff and excellent food and good choice of wine all at a reasonable price. Only just over one hour's drive from Ouistreham ferry port.

    The hotel is well situated for a stopover on route from Caen to the south. The staff are friendly and breakfast very good. I’d recommend this well priced hotel.
