The breakfast was delicious and very reasonable! The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to some historic sites like the old port, close to Panier and 30 minutes to the beach! The staff were truly the highlight tho, so warm and friendly and always ready to help and offer recommendations.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel installations were very modern, with good security measures. The hotel had a lovely outdoor space with a garden. Guests had access to a kitchen, game areas and laundry area. After check-out we can leave our bags in a secure room until its time to leave for the airport.

I loved the whole scene of the reception and bar being the same place. The staff were good to me, organising a taxi to collect me even though Beyonce was playing that night and everyone was busy. It felt so safe and relaxed in comparison to the centre of Marseilles. The pool was lovely and the room was lovely. They found me something to eat, when I tried the restaurant although they don't have vegan options on the menu and they brilliantly translated and ordered vegan Uber Eats for me on the other night I was there and found suitable crisps at the bar for me twice and free orange juice and water. It felt really friendly and I tried to extend my stay but they were full. It is a twenty minute walk to the Le Pointe Rouge beach and there is an amazing ice-cream and sorbet bar there to greet you. The beach was lovely to swim.

Only stayed one day and night but the old town and port area are great places to wander and eat. The Cathedral and Museum of Civilizations area is good to wander around. Notre Dame de la Garde was closed for visits early on Sundays for Mass. Missed that one but had seen it previously.

Marseille is a beautiful city with lots to do and see.

Marseille is a beautiful city with lots to do and see. Rich on history and culture. Sometimes it’s taunting to climb all the stairs and hills- but - worth it! Great local and international cuisine. The Calanques are stunning ! The city card is a great deal for sightseers.

Marseille is an exciting city with many faces. After visiting museums in the city center, it is worth taking a boat trip. Take a boat trip to the island of If, the island of Friuli, or one of the Calanques. It is also worth hiking in the Calanque National Park and running along the extra-long and beautiful seaside promenade. The seaside restaurant or the Triskell Breton crêperie are also not to be missed.

lots of good cafe & resturant and most of them are very reasonble priced. Cruises are good except that the guide only speaks in French. most of the exhibitions in the museum only written in French too. it is depressing to see the homeless with the children sleeping on the street.

There was so much to see and do!

There was so much to see and do! The History Museum in the Bourse shopping centre was fantastic! The Cosquer Cave was wonderful. We took the boat trip to the Calanques and enjoyed it. It was easy to get around and we used buses and the Metro. The best souvenir store was "Marseille in The Box". 13 Rue Reine Elizabeth. It is opposite the Carrefore store outside The Bourse. The man who runs it has items that are made for him in Marseille and unique items that are not found in the souvenir stores on the waterfront. He also speaks English and has good information about visiting Marseille. Great restuarant: Il Trio, 29 Pl.aux Huiles. In big plaza just behind the waterfront. Delicious and large size platter at a reasonable price.

I loved everything, the room was nice and clean and surprisingly quiet, even though the hotel is right across from the hospital. I slept really well, it was warm inside and the bed was big and confortable. The hotel is situated in a very good location, close to the metro station which has good connections to the center and to the train station (which connects with the airport), so I would highly recommend it. The guys from the reception were also very friendly and helpful. I would choose the same hotel for my next stay in Marseille. :)

Great apartment right in the centre of Marseille next to the old quarter 'Le Panier'. Very spacious, very high ceilings, located on a street lined with beautiful old buildings. You need to pick up the key from a hotel next to the Vieux Port which is right next to a metro station and then the apartment is just a quick 10 minute walk from there. Monoprix supermarket right below the building which is very convenient if you need to do any food shopping.

We had a fabulous stay at NH Collection Hotel Marseille. Check-in was efficient, the bedrooms were very spacious and breakfast was great. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and made recommendations for dinner and also booked a taxi for us to the airport. Location is great as its only a few minutes walk from Le Panier neighbourhood and about 10-15 minutes walk to Fort Saint Jean, Mucem and the old port.

Overall a cute stay, though the room was a little dark because of a small window: not a deal-breaker. The terrace for breakfast was really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right near the Marseille Saint-Charles station so the location is perfect as a base to get around south of France—train traffic can't be heard.
