Very well equipped and supplied, charming and helpful hostess. Ideal stopover from the alps to the uk, especially for those with an EV as there's a charger at the apartment and a supercharger at the local hotel. Superb boulangerie next to that hotel. No time to explore nearby Châlons en Champagne except to pick up a delicious Lebanese takeaway from the centre, but we'll be back I'm sure!

Everything went well, except that our satnav had not kept pace with the changes in Chalons, especially the one way system. Once we found it, the hotel was just fine. Good restaurant just next door!

What a gem! This motel is comfortable enough to use as a base for longer than an overnight stay, and it’s certain to become our go-to motel when travelling through France. From start to finish we enjoyed our stay. A former Campanile motel, but with a spruced-up feel. The receptionists when checking in and out were friendly and helpful; the member of staff serving dinner was excellent … and we enjoyed a three-course meal (iffy wine, though). Breakfast was well above average, and I haven’t had such a good hotel breakfast in a long time. Dog friendly, with plenty of lawned areas within the grounds (and dog bins/bags). It’s located on the edge of town,and we had a good post-dinner walk around the area (a mixture of residential, shops, services and schools). This ISN’T one of those motels isolated amongst industrial buildings and surrounded by heavy traffic - far from it. I

It was an easy walk to an artisanal baker.

It was an easy walk to an artisanal baker. Also a good restaurant (which needs to be booked). Châlons-en-Champagne is very close with full services, a lovely town square, bars and restaurants. For cycling it was 2km to the canalside path which gives easy access to rides in the Côtes des Blancs and the Montagnes des Rheims areas which have lovely hills and views.

We stayed here en route from Geneva to Rotterdam. It was perfect for our needs. The room had all the facilities that we needed and was clean and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent with delicious food and excellent service and the buffet breakfast had many options and set us up for the rest of our journey. In terms of location, we were not using the hotel as a base but it did seem to be close to many places of interest. We would definitely stay here again if making this journey another time.

The room was simply furnished, with double bed, desk, chair, shower room with separate toilet. All very clean. Evening meal in the restaurant was better than we expected for a small hotel. Each course had several choices and all delicious. But we didn't have time to try the breakfast. Perfect private carpark with plenty of spaces and tucked off the main road. The hotel is dog friendly and even has a dog exercise area with poop bags and a bin to hand. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, clean, spacious, very presentable. Good breakfast. I arrived on a Sunday, the day on which the hotel restaurant is closed. In my room there was a list of local restaurants, in three nearby towns, which was very useful. The restaurant I chose was very good, exactly what I was looking for.

Exceptional bed and bedding!! Best night's sleep ever!!! Soooo comfortable. Fabulous staff, fabulous hotel, fabulous restaurant, fabulous food and fabulous location. What more can I say? We also stayed twice last year, en route, and we will be staying again next year. Thank you.
