The room was spacious and clean. The location is very central and not far from train station. The hotel is attached to a restaurant. The check-in was very easy with entry codes and clear instructions. That was really helpful as my flight was delayed and arrived very late in the evening. The communication with the owner Jérôme was clear and fast.

We had the most delightful stay at this charming countryside apartment just a stone’s throw from Pérouges and only a short drive to Lyon. The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, with rolling hills and small villages nearby—yet close enough to enjoy the culture and gastronomy of the city. The apartment itself is full of character, decorated with a quaint and eclectic collection of objects that give it a warm, authentic atmosphere. At the same time, it offers every modern comfort: the rooms have been fully renovated, the bathrooms are spotless and contemporary, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped for both short and longer stays. What really stood out was the balance between rustic charm and modern amenities—you feel like you’re stepping into a lovingly preserved piece of the French countryside, without giving up any of today’s conveniences. A wonderful retreat for anyone wanting to explore both Lyon and the medieval beauty of Pérouges while enjoying a comfortable, stylish, and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

We loved it with my husband! A bathtub and a view over the rooftops of Pérouges. We were able to fully enjoy our stay, testing the restaurants and lovely shops. Perfect for a tour of the region. Very clean, I recommend it to everyone.

Great concept for a stop off on route to the South. Very convenient off the motorway, easy self check in and friendly, helpful staff. We didn’t get to use the spa but maybe next time.

Le Riccoty was an excellent discovery, very well located, in a sort of large estate, very good welcome, small comfortable room, and all at a good price/quality ratio. I was able to visit the small village of Blyes, go to the bird park and of course Lyon for my work. Point to note, the hotel has in fact another building where we can organize / hold seminars. A good address, I recommend.

Right in the centre of Perouges (even though Perouges is tiny!) and a short 10-15 minute walk to Merimeuix town for more food options. Check in was super easy and Sophie even allowed us to check in early. Free parking 2 mins walk from Sophie's place. A beautiful town and apartment for a little visit.

The rustic setting creates a brilliant French experience, a gorgeous place to stay. The location is within walking distance of Perouges and Meximieux, both are worth a visit. Beautiful places to walk Jean was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the property has everything you could need The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was well maintained and clean

We were staying in the area specifically to visit the medieval village of Perouges and the accommodation was ideally situated for this. It was just short walk up the hill. A quirky little place with all that you need for a comfortable stay. Great meal at restaurant Au Gout du Jour in Meximieux just a 10 min walk away. Also a large supermarket a stone's throw away.
