The owner was really friendly, helpful and accommodating. She even took out 3 month old boy around so we could enjoy the excellent dinner with predominantly locally sourced and extremely fresh food that was prepared for us. Trout straight from the river. It was all delicious.

Tom and Tatiana were outstanding hosts and the room had everything we needed for our visit. The place is in a very beautiful, secluded area (no car noise or any type of noise really except nature sounds) surrounded by fields and forests. The room and bathroom are private and if wanted, Tatiana and Tom prepare both an outstanding breakfast as well as dinner. These are optional but absolutely recommend. Recommend to stay there!! We would love to come back.

The property was exactly as pictured and in quiet surroundings. The gite was a welcome change for us after several days on the road hotel hopping, and very well priced. We made good use of the pool and the bbq. Eric was extremely kind and considerate, allowing for some flexibility on check-in/check-out for our baby’s nap times. He also surprised us with thoughtful little toys for the baby. We would consider returning and staying in the large property on the site if we were in a bigger group.

Spent a couple of day at this excellent hotel. Very comfortable room, pleasant, helpful staff and the food was delicious. Close to the town which was interesting to walk around. Would definitely recommend.

The town center, steeped in history, with its narrow streets...

The town center, steeped in history, with its narrow streets, is a definite plus. Don't rent at the Domaine de Monediere; they're not very welcoming or respectful of their guests. We ate at a fantastic family-run restaurant called Le Pêcheur de Lune (The Moon Fisherman) in the center, where the atmosphere is very down-to-earth and friendly, offering gourmet cuisine nonetheless.

This comment is irrelevant for us… We arrived in the evening in torrential rain and left the next morning. Much to our regret, as the village seemed quite charming, at least in terms of its architecture.

The Monédières massif is very beautiful in autumn.

The Monédières massif is very beautiful in autumn. Meyrignac l'Eglise is a small old village that is best avoided in autumn because a very small road provides access to the Monédières area; it is much better to take the main road and come via Corrèze (the town), it adds a little time, but avoids the many hairpin bends of the small road, especially in wet weather.

Complete relaxation for a holiday surrounded by nature. A very pleasant chalet with all the comforts, and a covered terrace that's a real plus on bad weather. The children can play safely and peacefully.
