The Fortress is a must-see.

The Fortress is a must-see. We only discovered it by accident, but had we been there longer, would have planned for a full day visit. You can partake in various ancient traditions and have great souvenirs from your trip with something you made yourself. Great for kids or adults. There are translations in other languages available in case you don't understand fluent French. The guide is extremely entertaining if you do understand the language though!

Beautiful property and location. Old but charming. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would like to go back and explore the surrounding area. The food in the restaurant was exquisit along with the wine and service.

As always, this hotel combines tranquility with the charm of a well maintained beautiful chateau. The rooms are well designed as is the restaurant - the breakfasts have been consistently good over the years we have visited. Last time we stayed, we were disappointed with the restaurant but this time it was back to excellent form! It isn’t cheap but you do get value for money and the chef’s signature soufflé is back - delicious!

Booked at the last minute after a long day of driving, we stumbled on this not knowing what it was going to be like. We normally stick with hotels, but this was a guesthouse. The room was lovely, twin beds (sadly) but every aspect was very agreeable. Clean, comfortable, kettle and coffee maker, tv, wifi, nice shower, all there. The breakfast was lovely, offered variety and was very tasty.

The room was pokey an up 3 flights of stairs and although not tall I couldn’t easily get in and out of bed. The rooms on that floor are really not suitable as hotel bedrooms. Also there was an extractor pipe outside the window which was noisy. The staff did their best but there aren’t enough of them expensive for what it was.

A delightful family-run hotel, owner is classic car and motor-sport fan a big plus in my book. Hotel is decorated with numerous film and motoring memorabilia which are fascinating. Room quiet with comfortable bed. Breakfast selection excellent with never ending piping hot coffee. Hope to return soon when travelling.
