Everything! It was well equipped, spacious, brand new, the design very modern and with some artsy touches by the owner. A real gem! I also appreciated very much the calmness of the studio and the super comfy bed. The studio is well located close to many quaint villages which are worth diacovering. And last but not least, the host was really caring and helpful.

The room was small but had everything we would want. It was nice and cool. It had a fridge and well supplied with cutlery and crockery. Man was very welcoming. He even put in the bedroom little extras that you wouldn’t expect like disposable toothpaste and toothbrush Madeleine’s chocolates and if you wanted, they were drinks in the fridge. Not sure if you had to pay for these we didn’t use them. It’s right on the bike track if you’re a cyclist and he supplies the leaflets about all the local bike tracks. So for us it was heaven.

As a couple, we were guests at a wedding 3.5km away at Clos du Tuilier from Friday to Monday and were looking for a nice retreat between the festivities. We found this at Nathalie and Marc's La Halte Gourmande! The hosts were incredibly friendly and reliable in their communication and planning of our stay, answering all our questions and being flexible with the check-in (we only arrived at 9pm due to a late flight). The accommodation is located in a small village on one of the highest points, so you have a beautiful view when sitting on the terrace or relaxing by the pool. The room had a beautiful large bathroom with plenty of storage space, a good hairdryer, and a nice shower, which was perfect for getting ready for the wedding. The room itself was clean and had a spacious wardrobe; moreover, you could access the garden directly from the terrace door, which also leads to the pool. It was wonderful and quiet; we slept very well on the bed. We had the pool almost to ourselves because there is not much going on thanks to the few rooms. Every morning we get a sweet breakfast on the terrace with croissants and fresh bread, homemade jam, and juices. In the evening, we had the pleasure to have Marc, that is a professional cook, to make dinner for us and it was delicious! We thank you for the lovely experience and absolutely recommend La Halte Gourmande!
