Really lovely hotel in the centre of town with lovely staff. very dog friendly… We asked for a ground floor room so that we could take our two dogs out early in the morning and last thing at night and this was accommodated. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were super comfy.

Everything. All clean and tidy. Ready for our arrival. Linen and towels and Spa gown brilliant. Lovely jacuzzi. Shower really good. Lovely kitchen, all you needed. Great garden for doggies too. 5 mins walk to the town, superb town. Excellent vets helped with Dog papers for Calais exit. Will definitely use again.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect, near the ramparts and very central. The rooms are wonderfully quirky and very comfortable. There are some very interesting design features. Jessica waited for us since we arrived late, and was very welcoming and helpful. She kindly booked us a table at a restaurant we like which is popular. I can thoroughly recommend Pieux.

A great little place for an overnight or couple of days. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Good specialist shops -,brilliant cheese shop and coffee/wine merchant. A walk on the ramparts should not be missed!

Lovely area but must stress that in autumn/winter time the place is very quiet and also be aware that restaurants do not open late we arrived at 9pm and it seems very late to start eating we were the very last customers to arrive.

Montreuil-sur-Mer is an absolute gem of a town, highly unusual in being surrounded by ramparts (on top of a hill) and highly picturesque - both the town and its surrounding countryside. It has some excellent artisanal shops, as well as very good hotels/ restaurants. A fantastic base for exploration of the Pas de Calais region.

Montreuil is a historic, walled town with a large central square and picturesque cobbled streets. The walk around the walls is well worth the time, and wandering the streets is very rewarding. It's a proper local small town, busy with real life, there are many little restaurants and cafes, shops and fascinating old and new French architecture. It's a place where tourists fit in with locals.

A charming, authentic French town.

A charming, authentic French town. Lots of interesting things to see, including the ramparts & mud houses. Nice restaurants, my favourites being the Coquempot & Picollinos. 20/30 minutes drive from Le Touquet

Lovely town to walk around and views from the ramparts.

Lovely town to walk around and views from the ramparts. Not aware beforehand that entry to the Citadel was not free , nor the closing time - we only arrived shortly before closure (5pm), so didn't want to pay the fee for only the last 10 minutes.

We booked Les Remparts for a one night stay when we initially arrived in France and after staying there we decided to book again for our return trip. On our first stay we dined in the restaurant and had an excellent meal, unfortunately when we returned it was on a Wednesday and the restaurant was closed. We had the same room for both stays, quite adequate for a one night stopover with access to wifi and we had a good continental breakfast on our first stay. Jeremy was really friendly and gave us a warm welcome.

Madame was so welcoming. The house is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. It is situated in the centre of Montreuil with excellent restaurants to choose from. It exceeded our expectations and we would thoroughly recommend this extremely comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is very well located in one of the main square of Montreuil-sur-Mer with lots of free parking. Beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast's products very fresh and made by local farmers. Apple and apple/strawberry juices were delicious!

We use this hotel as a stopover en route to the south of France. It is a well-located hotel with secure private parking and a functioning bar. However, the decor is a little tired.
