Everything!! The hotel is beautiful!! Such a charming boutique hotel. Situated in a central, quite, location but a ‘stones’ throw away to the hub of activity. The hotel has been tastefully restored retaining the old charm. Clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are delightful the bed extremely comfortable and all the mod cons of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful, cosy seating areas to relax downstairs, a bar and a lovely outdoor terrace with plunge pool. My partner and I were cycle touring around France and were booked to stay here one night. We were greeted warmly and positively by Julien the owner on our arrival. Once panniers and luggage removed from the bikes he kindly helped us with taking them to the garage at the side of the property for safe storage. One of us is vegetarian and he recommended a wonderful restaurant opposite the castle which we could admire whilst dining outside and it was a perfect evening with delicious food. Breakfast was served in a delightful dining area with a delicious array of choices again no stone left unturned. On setting off on the bikes about 15 kms into the ride I had a mechanical problem where I lost my gears and the bike couldn’t be ridden. We were in a rural area. I telephoned the hotel where I spoke with Anne Juliens wife to ask if she could contact a taxi for me in French to get me back to a bike shop in town. I couldn’t believe it. She insisted Julien come and collect me in his van and take me to a bike shop in Nérac. Julien was there in no time and took me to a shop back in town where he interpreted. And the mechanics attended to my bike right away. He insisted on waiting until he knew they could fix it and that I would be back in the road refusing to take any money for his time and petrol. This act of kindness was so appreciated. I can’t thank him enough.

A beautifully styled property which provides everything you need. Very comfortable and beautiful to relax on the patio looking out to the picturesque view. Claire is so accommodating and provides extra touches that are so thoughtful. We loved it there so much we stayed an extra night.

A very pretty little town, with the remains of Henry VI's castle and charming banks of the Baïse. A pleasant region, full of other castles and good food, about thirty minutes from Agen, which, on the other hand, has very little to offer except for shopping and transport (TGV station).

A lovely town to discover.

A lovely town to discover. The Parc de la Garenne is magnificent, truly worth exploring. Numerous restaurants and shops make for a pleasant stroll through town, all within a historic setting. River excursions are available, and exploring the surrounding countryside is not to be missed!

Beautiful town, but poorly maintained and unrenovated. Not much information about Henri IV and Marguerite d'Angoulême. No bars open before 3 pm, sometimes even 5 pm. Magnificent old stone bridge, but not pedestrianized! One excellent restaurant (L'Art de Vivre)!

Nérac is a very pleasant town where it's easy to get around...

Nérac is a very pleasant town where it's easy to get around and park. For sightseeing, we visited Terraventura, which was perfect! There's a very large market on Saturday mornings with many local producers.

The region is magnificent, with so much to see.

The region is magnificent, with so much to see. The Garenne park is excellent for walking, with benches for resting. We're not very young, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The visit to the castle was very exciting, and there were many other sites to see as well. We also ate very well in several restaurants in Nérac and the surrounding area.

I recommend going directly to the Tourist Office, which offers excellent advice and suggests activities and a two-day itinerary. A very warm welcome awaits you. This charming village is steeped in history and has a lovely atmosphere: a castle, shaded walks in the King's Gardens or a boat trip on the Baïse River, a beautiful church, and great restaurants! I recommend staying overnight in a bed and breakfast.

We visited as a group for a friends wedding and Julian was so accommodating towards us and helped us with anything we needed at any time. The hotel was so beautiful and there were lovely little areas for a group of our size to sit and have a drink. It was great
