Old Medieval château with ancient’s history was a nice quiet place to spend a week with family. Just relax, make a plan what else nice to see is around this area, ask for hosts for advice and you are done, enjoy. There is a pool for hot days. Friendly nice pets - 2 dogs and cat, for those who loves pets😊Reserve dinner in nearby restaurants in advance, because in France they eat between 12:00-14:00 and 19:00-22:00 Extremely nice and helpful hosts, Madame and Monsieur de Ternay, they allowed us to make booking arrangements, we are so grateful for them.

My stay at The Gatekeepers Cottage was truly exceptional. The British owners, Jill and Adrian, go way above and beyond what I would expect from B&B accommodation. The Cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. The breakfasts were absolutely superb, Adrian & Jill were all too happy to accommodate my needing to be out very early some mornings. They also provided a fantastic 'welcome pack' with milk, bottled water, fruit, bread, and other charcuteries. They also provided coffee, tea bags, and a jar of sweets and snacks. The Gatekeepers cottage is fantastic value for money, I thoroughly recommend it.

We loved everything about our stay. We would give the hosts, property, breakfast, comfort etc 6 stars if we could. Totally impressed with what this had to offer. We are well travelled and have stayed in many places over the last 20 years and this rates as one of the best!
