Everything! Location excellent for a stopover or short break; staff extremely helpful, professional and friendly - we were late arriving, but they assured us we'd get a meal, we were late down to breakfast (hadn't put our watches forward!) but they accommodated us regardless; the restaurant menu was varied, imaginative and excellent; the room was large, comfortable and with a superb view of the castle and lake. It was so good we extended our stay and walked in the extensive forest (map provided in local tourist information office).

We had a wonderful night chez Tombivouac. Beautiful location, comfortable, clean. Our 5 year old was so happy to stay here; we made lovely memories, watching the stars and listening to the owls. Thomas offers a warm welcome and is always available. Great breakfast on the terrace. I highly recommend stopping here for a beautiful experience.

Our stay was absolutely exceptional. The host was incredibly helpful, extremely welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb – truly everything you could wish for, with plenty of choice and great quality. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with lovely finishing touches that made it feel extra special, such as comfortable gowns, extra towels, and thoughtful details throughout. This is a beautiful not big villa in a beautiful quiet location. This is my best rental experience in France for 1.5 years. The house has everything, all amenities. Comfortable bed. Nice shower! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Not far from the beautiful castle, it is a wonderful walk. There are shops nearby. Not far there is a farm where you can buy chicken eggs. Every morning we saw deer near the house in the woods

We visited Pierrefonds because my daughters loved the show...

We visited Pierrefonds because my daughters loved the show Merlin, but found the castle to be so much more than just the set of a TV show. I had read blogs and watch videos about others visiting the castle which mentioned that the town was not much of anything, but we found in to be charming. We would have eaten dinner in the town the night before we visited the castle instead of just grabbing something on the way, but because of the negative feedback I didn't know about the nice looking restaurants on the banks of a small lake.

Pierrefonds is a very cool castle. We went because my daughter watched the show Merlin and wanted to see it but we all really enjoyed it. The town is also very charming and it worth spending some time in.

Wow, what a place! Seriously, private parking with gates, garden and the most amazing views of Pierrefonds Chateau. Super comfy beds and lots of space for a family. The property is immaculate inside, you've got everything you need to cook yourselves. A lovely village an easy walk from the property and a good base to explore. We went to Belgium for the afternoon, why not? A beautifully presented accommodation, if I had the money I'd buy it as a holiday home without question. Highly recommend.

We had a very comfortable stay in this modern apartment, spotlessly clean and well equipped with coffee, cleaning products, etc. It was an easy walk to the Chateau Pierrefonds, the lake and eateries. Take out pizza a few steps away. There is a gated parking lot for the building. Entry was easy using instructions sent by the host.
