The house is located in a very small Village in a very calm and rural area. The landscape is beautiful, especially the "site de la roche au cerf" is a beautiful place to go and only 5 minutes footwalk from the house. The house itself is nice and "authentic", everything we needed was there. A car is needed for any grocery, but there is a very good bakery and a small supermarket in Plessala (5 minutes by car). To get to the northern coast of Brittany, it takes a little less than one our. The host, Sarah, is very friendly and it was easy to communicate with her (thank you for that, Sarah!)! She also had very good tips for day trips.

The location and charm of it. Also liked that there was a toilet by each bedroom so we didn't have to go up and down rather challenging stairs. It was very clean and well equipped. The town was amazing, and the locals very friendly. Close to boulangerie and supermarket.

The room we had was large with a very spacious shower room that also has a bath. The large double bed was very comfortable and there was also tea, coffee and a kettle in the room. Plenty of places to plug in chargers etc. John and Susan presented us with with varied and more than ample lovely breakfasts each morning. They made us feel so very welcome it was like home from home and I would challenge anyone who couldn’t get on with them and their lovely friendly dog Molly. They gave us use of their outside table plus plates and cutlery for eating in one evening when we chose not to eat out. Eating out means driving not too far to places that they suggested and we were never let down. Parking is very nearby or virtually outside in a parking bay and tho I’m fussy about where I park my car there were never any problems as it’s fairly quiet. A great place to stay and we will certainly stay there again as we have a specific reason to visit the area again very soon. And for those like us who speak no French they are English but French is also spoken.
