Very friendly couple. Beautiful home made breakfast of jam, tart, yoghurt and crusty crossiants fresh from the local bakery. The pool was excellent. Lovely rural setting. The room as well appointed with a large shower.

The MANOIR DU VAU D'ARZ isn't just an accommodation, but a HOME where you're welcome to be a guest—and should definitely be one! The entire property is so tastefully designed! Every corner, every room, simply everything shows how much heart and soul has been invested here. Aside from the tranquility, the wonderful beds, and the amazing breakfast in the garden, the warmth of the hosts Sophie and Dominique deserves special mention. It was so much fun chatting with them. They are very accommodating, helpful with reservations, and you can trust every one of their tips blindly. I don't think we've ever felt as welcome in an "accommodation" as we did here! We were even able to speak a little German with Sophie (GENAU!), and she's also fluent in English. What can I say: if it weren't so far away, I'd be back next weekend.! Marie and Pierre are perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast - for us it was just too much :) Parking on spot. House in peaceful surrounding very close to Rochefot-en-Terre and good starting place for daily trips. Highly recommended!

The owner spoke enthusiastically about the awards her...

The owner spoke enthusiastically about the awards her husband had won with his tripe recipes. It was very clean, despite the fact that only two people run the place. A very pleasant dining room, with a very hard-working couple who did their utmost best, for which we thank them. If we were ever in the area again, we would definitely stop by.

Rochefort-en-Terre is very touristy but absolutely beautiful...

Rochefort-en-Terre is very touristy but absolutely beautiful! Marie recommended other towns to us, which were also gorgeous. There's a recreational park nearby – a small lake with a circular path (no cars or bicycles allowed!) – that's definitely worth a visit!

A beautiful establishment in a peaceful location.

A beautiful establishment in a peaceful location. The room was lovely and tastefully furnished with excellent quality bedding. The hosts were charming and very professional. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring fresh, homemade products. Rochefort-en-Terre is easily accessible, and Sarzeau is a quick and convenient stop.

Swimming pool available. A very peaceful overnight stay surrounded by greenery. An excellent base for exploring the surrounding area: Rochefort-en-Terre with the Naia Museum (not to be missed!), La Gacily, and the Landes de Cojoux. A wide selection of restaurants nearby.

The warm welcome and the owner's natural kindness were wonderful. The owner even made us appreciate his favorite dish again! The breakfast was perfect. We felt very comfortable, like we were at home or visiting friends! Thank you so much for making this stay perfect.
