We love the charming seaside atmosphere here and in neighbouring Sainte-Marguerite - hotels, café and the Les Voiles tapas bar is full of character. Fascinating on-going ecological development of the Saâne river.

Quiberville is a small unpretentious summer beach resort.

Quiberville is a small unpretentious summer beach resort. It is safe for sea swimming and has an indicated area to swim with lifeguard during the day. Easy to park with a small supermarket and a few places to eat. You can use it as a base to walk along the cliffs or to visit Varengeville ( which does not have much accommodation). Quiberville also has a series of small fish stalls selling whelks and other seafood.

We have always bypassed this area when heading south and...

We have always bypassed this area when heading south and have missed out on a very nice area. It is a dramatic coastline with sheer chalky cliffs inlaid with small low key beach resorts. Inland is just as pleasant with rolling hills, small villages and very quiet smooth roads.

A charming little seaside town with beautiful countryside nearby. We like atmosphere in the cafes and restaurants. We found it very interesting to see the environmental project to adapt to climate change. I also enjoyed the historical 'before and after' photographic display boards on the seafront.
