A themed hotel, like a museum of the 1960s and 70s. Simple, but good value for money. And the best homemade bread I ever had st a breakfast buffet. The hotel is not central, but I was there for an event at the MeM, which is within walking distance.

It's really pleasant to live in the city.
It's really pleasant to live in the city. Rennes is not like Paris but there is everything you need to live and enjoy yourself. The center of the city is full of fun with beautiful old buildings and churches. You can also find modern facilities for your convenience. I loved the beautiful city of Rennes.

Only stayed 1 day - could perhaps have added a day. Rennes is very car un-friendly! Lots of cycle lanes, some quite narrow streets; lots of one-way streets that lead nowhere 9so you enter the one=way system and after a couple of minutes you end up back where you started - and there are no optional turns out of this system!
That said, once parked and on foot, very pleasant indeed.. We also had very nice weather - late-mid September.
Good restaurants - we ate at a creperie for lunch which was good and at an unpreposing restaurant for dinner which was very good,

The city had beautiful screet scape, shops and cafes and an amazing park all within walking distance. The local were friendly and prices generally in eating venues was reasonable. Rennes having a metro is an excellent asset allowing a lot of walking knowing you can double back by train if you plan your exploration direction to suit the metro stops. The staff at the metro station offered very helpful assistance without prompting helping to understand the ticketing system and ticket purchase process.

The old town is lovely, but for the oldies a bit tricky with the cobbles. The restaurants seem to be all in the centre - other eateries are pancakes, pizzas, and burgers - not exciting. It is a city for walkers - I am 94 and walking only short distances. My partner is a walker, so no problem. The people are extremely friendly, and it is a young city.
The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was right in the center of the old town, very quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and a 25 mins walk to the train station.
Marion was very friendly, and couldn't have done more to make our visit perfect. There was a secure place to store bikes, free car parking and she catered for a gluten-free breakfast by making a special cake. She provided a booklet including a map and places to visit.
Communication and information was also outstanding
This is a half-timbered house several hundred years old with uneven creaky stairs: you definitely stay here for the historical ambience right in the center of old Rennes! Thus, the location is excellent as most sights are well within walking distance. Rooms are, of course, modernized and have high ceilings. The breakfast was a good continental spread. Also, there is no parking there, but the B & B supplies 'passes" (10 euros) to an underground parking lot a few blocks away.
Modern, well equipped studio apartment close to Rennes Station/Metro and a 20 minute walk from the town centre. Tucked away off the main road so nice and quiet. Close to some excellent restaurants. Keyless entry system.
Great communication from the host - really helpful and answered all of our questions.
This is a perfect location for a short trip in Rennes. It's right next to the church and in the center of the historical town center, the building is definitely over 100 years old and has some nice character. The room decorations are very modern and chic:)
Definitely worth the price!
The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. Location was within an easy walk reach of Rennes old town, the train station, and lovely restaurants and bars. Room was spacious and comfy. Wish I could have stayed longer!
Everything is perfect. On the day we arrived, the hair dryer was broken but the staff is very nice and the problem was solved efficiently.
I would recommend this hotel and I think I would still choose it if I would visit Rennes again.
We stayed at the Anne de Bretagne en route to the South West of France. We arrived late and left early, but we were warmly welcomed and the rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean and exactly what we were looking for.
Good and affordable hostel in Rennes, close to Gare de Rennes. Supermarket, bars are close.
Nice terrace. Nice réception staff.
Comfy bed with clean linnen and charging spot.
Lockers in the room. Clean showers.
Lovely place in an historical building (several hundreds of years). A lot of pleasure for the ones who enjoy this kind of places. At the very heart of the oldest place of Rennes. Welcome back to the Renaissance.
Only planned to stay one night but stayed for 3.
nights,,!We never stay at any other hotel in Rennes, we love it so much. The host Christian is a first class man who shows only one standard which is Excellence. 8
The location of this hotel was fabulous! Walkable to everything you want and need in Rennes. In December the Christmas light show, amusement fair and other festive markets was really special.
Pleasent check in and adequate room. Nice shower. Good tasty breakfast. Close to Gare Train Station and a 15 minute walk to the Old Town. Handy locstion for the return of hire cars.
Excellent location directly across from Gare. Perfect after a long day of traveling. Small - but clean, well equipped room with comfortable mattress. Very efficient welcoming staff.
The Union of rooms 201 and 202.for the 4 of us built my best hotel experience ever with my two little ones..it's hard to express how simply good it was.
