Perfectly placed for a nights rest driving back to the UK. We arrived late to receive warm welcome from Veronica. The place was beautifully presented and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed talking French to our hosts and other guests.

Very welcoming host, large room, bed and bathroom. Easy parking and good access to the autoroute. The evening meal was very good but maybe a little expensive. It is a useful overnight stop from Calais to the south coast and a nice change from the usual chain hotels.

The castle is amazing and has been very well refurbished. Even if it did not have air-conditioning, the temperature was just fine. We were able to take our dog, and she loved running around the vast property. You can also walk down to the river. From the swimming pool you have a lovely view of the castle. There is no restaurant, but if you ask, they can prepare you a few dishes that you can eat either inside or outside overlooking the grounds.
