We received a friendly welcome, had the opportunity to wash our gravel bikes and the room was nice. We felt very comfortable from the start. It was clean and the shower towels smelled very nice. I would book a room here again in a heartbeat. Last but not least, the delicious fruits and the good Croissant for breakfast should be mentioned :-)

There are very beautiful places to visit; the redevelopment of the area formerly known as "the slaughterhouses," 500 meters from the church of Saint Barnard, is magnificent; there are a multitude of small things to see in old Romans.

I drove through too quickly, and I plan to return with more time if I can, as I enjoyed the tourist information I found in my accommodation, the scenery along the route between the motorway and Romans, and the arrival in Romans itself. It's a beautiful region to discover and appreciate, as evidenced by the local specialties I sampled at breakfast, including the ravioli, which I adore.

I appreciated the friendliness of the locals, the peacefulness of the place, the ease of getting around on foot, and the proximity to other, slightly larger towns. I was surprised by the number and variety of shops nearby. It's an ideal place to disconnect and relax, while still having access to essentials.

We enjoyed our stay at the unique Maison Pop, using the pool and relaxing in the lovely garden. Gabriel and his wife are very friendly hosts. The appartment is located in a quiet neighborhood and the restaurants in the city center can be reached by foot within 10 to 15 minutes. Romans-sur-Isère is a lovely city with and old town and an ideal base to ride the bikes along the Isère cycle path to Valence or to Saint Nazair en Royans.
