Patrick gave us a lovely welcome. We stayed in the converted barn with the veranda. It has the most amazing view from the huge windows that you can see from the bed. It has air conditioning which was very welcome at night. Such a beautiful room, perfect decor and very clean. The shower was lovely. I really can't recommend this place enough. We arrived on bike and put them on the porch outside the room, but there is also a barn you can put them in.

It was a great experience of such welcoming hosts with homemade food and exceptional attitude to the client. Cleaniness and 4* comfortable beds, supplements (water, coffee, tea) in the apartament. Calmness in the surroundings with the sound of the church bells in the distance. It was magical for us after Paris rush :)

The Gîte itself is just so beautiful and rustic, exactly as per the photos and so cosy and warm, the pellet burner was just perfect for this time of year (December). The owners were the friendliest and most helpful people you could ask for. We had travel issues (delays on the Euro Tunnel) and then problems with our car (puncture), which caused us long delays, however, we kept them informed and they were so understanding and very helpful, we could not have asked for more.

It is owned and run by an artist who is a wonderful host, who made us feel warmly welcome from the start, as well as a most interesting person to talk to. She runs a place so full of history and charme it is difficult to know where to begin - from the location of the building on top of the ramparts, its late medieval, tasteful design, the spaciousness of the rooms, ... This is a created a very, very special place, which is beyond perfect.

Patrick gave us a lovely welcome. We stayed in the converted barn with the veranda. It has the most amazing view from the huge windows that you can see from the bed. A really lovely place, and truly excellent hosts. The most gorgeous place we have ever stayed in. Perfect in every respect..To be really fussy, for some people perhaps, just a little far away from restaurants. Of course, its isolation, in deep, beautiful countryside is indeed an asset for people like us who love nature.
