Great evening meal in a lovely setting to the side of the hotel. Pretty busy for time of year and day of the week. Very good breakfast with local fare and very pleasant and helpful staffing. Good recommendation to visit a ‘beach’ 10 mins down the road if it’s hot. Excellent views. All clean and comfortable and quiet and friendly

We had a lovely comfortable clean room with a window that opened with views over the garden and into the mountains. . It was spacious and good storage for luggage. There is a pleasant garden area for guests to relax in. The reception staff on the day we checked in spoke good English. We reserved a car park which was available when we arrived. Good varied breakfast. The highlight was the dinner in the restaurant. None of the restaurant staff spoke English but this was not a problem as it was a set menu on the night we were there. The food and service was superb and it was not expensive given the quality of the fare.

This hotel is located in the heart of the picturesque Meyrueis, in Parc National des Cevennes. It offers an outdoor pool surrounded a furnished terrace, overlooking the National Park.

Really helpful reception. Very comfortable bedrooms. We loved the swimming pool. It was great hearing the wolves howling at night. Located in the most scenic landscape you can imagine. Wonderful temperature. My son and I had a great time and would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Lovely hotel. Excellent location for touring the gorges. Breakfast was lovely. We ate once in the hotel and it was very good. Staff v helpful. Garage for motorbike very good.

Firstly, Meyruis itself is wonderful, a perfect spot to base ourselves for a few days whilst we explored the local area on motorcycle. We stayed at the Hotel De l'Europe on the basis of a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Basic but clean, well appointed rooms, perfect location in the village with plenty of restaurants a few steps away. The owner was friendly and very helpful. We only had breakfast on the last morning and, whilst it was just your typical french continental breakfast, it was excellent value at €7.90. If we are in the area again we will definitely return. It was a little dearer for a balcony room but well worth the extra. Just remember to close the shutters before bed. We didn't think about it the first night and were woken by blinding sunlight at an ungodly hour!

Beautiful old Château with loads of character. Fantastic food and friendly, welcoming staff.

The breakfast was generous with plenty of choice and good quality product. Value for money. The location is great, the hotel and the park though from a different period, offer peace and tranquility. Highly recommend
