We booked this property for one night. When I opened the door, I understood I had made a huge mistake. We should have booked it for a week at least. Amazing place. Fun fact, we were going to use the pool, but because of the storm, we lit fire in fireplace :) Good for all kind of weather :-)

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room. One highlight is the restaurant, which serves lovely, locally sourced dishes. Particularly good for cyclists (I arrived with a bicycle); a room has been set aside for the safe storage of bicycles and the management kindly allowed me to hose down my bike made muddy by November riding. Highly recommended.

What a beauty spot the inspirational hosts have created here. We loved every minute of our stay. We loved the furnished tent and facilities, such attention to detail (and efficient hot shower). We loved the family of hens and animals (can visit them on the other side of the lake) the peace and tranquility of the lakeside and the unforgettable hospitality and kindness of the host. We’d return in a heartbeat!

The gite was very nicely decorated, very functional and was bigger than I had expected. The owner met us at the gate of the property and was very friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay. If we happen to travel through the region again, it will be a pleasure stay in Gite le Patis again.

I loved everything! Sharon is exceptional ! Thank you again for everything ! My stay here was amazing ! If you wish to spend some time in a timeless place in the middle of the countryside, then this is the place for you! I came for one night, but ended up staying for 3! It really gave me a chance to recharge my batteries, which is exactly what I was looking for! Sharon's good food and kindness were a big part of it too! Thank you again ! And thank you for the help with the cheminée also xx

Small city in the middle of nowhere in Normandy!

Small city in the middle of nowhere in Normandy! La Grange Gïtes: good choice for a weekend or longer stay, worth to try few days of work-from-home; too!;-) With family or group of friends, there are 3 separate appartments (4 peple each). Sleeping rooms and bathroom are upstairs, older people might find it challenging. Barbeque, terrasse, an excellent garden with petanque, small swimming pool are part of the 'package'. Excellent choice if you are looking for silence, nature, birds singing and a good recovering sleep.

The gite is located in the calm Countryside.

The gite is located in the calm Countryside. There are great views, and you can enjoy the local wildlife such as deer, rabbits and of walking opportunities close by. The local towns are very beautiful and drenched in history. There are so many places to see and things to do.
