The Gîte itself is just so beautiful and rustic, exactly as per the photos and so cosy and warm, the pellet burner was just perfect for this time of year (December). The owners were the friendliest and most helpful people you could ask for. We had travel issues (delays on the Euro Tunnel) and then problems with our car (puncture), which caused us long delays, however, we kept them informed and they were so understanding and very helpful, we could not have asked for more.

The hosts, Wendy and Stephen, were wonderful and made us feel very much at home. Also, the garden is incredible, the room cozy and the breakfast really enjoyable. We only stayed two nights but it felt like a whole holiday, and would love to come back again. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The warm welcome immediately made us feel at home. The room was very cosy, with comfortable beds. In the evening we very much enjoyed the possibility to play pool and darts in the ‘play room’. Breakfast was very good with delicious scrambled eggs on toast. We really enjoyed dinner prepared for us on the second evening of our stay (delicious chicken with potatoes freshly harvested from the garden, followed by a big piece of very tasteful cake)

It’s a beautiful house away from busy roads. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our accommodation was very well maintained and clean, the bedroom - located in the old part of the house - was super cute and cozy. Our host Ian was super friendly and very kind to post some stuff we forgot at the house. We have had a great experience!

Following the stress of a cancelled flight, we arrived into the care of Alexandra and Thierry. They could not have been more kind and attentive, such wonderful hosts Accommodation is beautiful with the garden an Oasis of tranquility. Patrick gave us a lovely welcome. We stayed in the converted barn with the veranda. It has the most amazing view from the huge windows that you can see from the bed. It has air conditioning which was very welcome at night. Such a beautiful room, perfect decor and very clean. The shower was lovely. I really can't recommend this place enough. We arrived on bike and put them on the porch outside the room, but there is also a barn you can put them in.
