We booked very late in the evening due to a cancelled flight and were amazed by the warm welcome. The receptionist even called us right after the booking to check if she could prepare anything for us. When we arrived late at night, everything was ready and stress-free. Our suite was set up while we enjoyed a late dinner at the excellent restaurant – they had kindly stayed open for us. The food was fantastic, and Chef Fabrice Giraud came by personally. The whole setting is stunning – an elegant 18th-century house, beautiful garden, and a peaceful pool area. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which we found charming. Truly outstanding hospitality. 5/5

Very good value and great location! We booked it to watched the fireworks and it was perfectly what we needed! The staff was very kind and welcoming. Rooms are on the small side however it did not bother us and one of us is over 6 foot tall. We've had the best breakfast in a long time (we have been travelling for over 3 months now), we really appreciated the very fresh fruit salad, the fresh bread, croissants so we ate way too much, even our 3 children voted the best breaky! We arrived at the hotel while the restaurant was packed and despite that the staff was so kind to welcome us as the entry was on the other side. The view from the rom is fantastic. It was quiet despite the hustle national day celebrations can bring. Great value and great location for a stop over or not.

Saint Florent is a charming little town about 45 mins from Losari. Unfortunately it’s packed with bars and cafes which serve a purpose but like a lot of places in Corsica mean that there’s little or no space for anything else- just feels like it lacks a bit of culture. Again like most places in Corsica any dish will cost you the standard 20 euros and I was amazed (as with other places in Corsica) how sparse the fish options are on menus- I’d expected it to have been a seafood paradise. So saint florent is ok for the day but given the awful beach (brown water and ridiculous winds) unless you like sipping overpriced cocktails and staring at the super rich on their yachts (who by the way are also getting their kicks from sitting back in luxury and staring at you) there’s not a great deal to do!

Saint-Florent is a beautiful and charming coastal town — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beaches are stunning, the marina has great restaurants and cafés, and the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. It’s also a great base for exploring Cap Corse or taking a boat trip to Saleccia beach. Highly recommend!

The small town is bustling with life in summer.

The small town is bustling with life in summer. There are many tourists, but for a reason - the town is pleasant, beautifully located in a bay with good beaches and clear water within a 10 or 20 minutes boat ride. The mountainous hinterland is part of the Patrimonio wine district. The entire coast line north and south of the town is dramatic and unspoilt. The town is full of restaurants and cafes. Not especially cheap - it seems like the restaurants have agreed what a meal and a drink should cost. There are not many places with culture or art to visit, I guess most tourists come for the sun and the sea and the beautiful landscape, which is ideal for trekkers and cyclists.

Saint-Florent is a beautiful little town.

Saint-Florent is a beautiful little town. We did not dine in Saint Florent, but just outside in the surrounding villages. To the north there are a lot of wineries. We did not visit these. We also went to Bastia; about a 40 minute drive through the mountains. We went to Plage de la Roya. This is a sandy beach with a shallow water bay. It is an excellent beach to stay with young children. We also went to the Corsica Zoo. Not a very large and exquisite zoo, but the kids (9 and 11 years old), still enjoyed it. We would recommend staying in Saint Florent, above staying in Bastia.

The port is very nice, espec. the promenade with all the bars and restaurants. Having a dinner there is definitely worth it, also the visit of the Citadelle de Saint-Florent. There are very nice and sandy beaches in the bay. espec. Plage de la Roya, however, we had a bad luck and the sea was quite polluted with plastics. If you take a boat trip to e.g. Plage de Lotu, you will find an amazing beach and water there.

Small city, good for holidays, you can get there pretty much everything you need. There's choice of restaurants and shops. It's good place to discover the north/west or center of Corsica. There are vineyards nearby where you can taste and buy wine.

The hotel is located in a very nice place, with a great view of the mountains. Quite close to Lotu and Saleccia beaches. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and good food. Quite a good price for a buffet breakfast (10E per person). The air conditioning worked as it should.

The facility is old, but the rooms are renovated, very nice, clean, with comfortable beds. Free parking available in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpfull. Just a few minutes walk from the port and the city center.
