I booked this hotel for a rest with my daughter during the holidays. It is a beautiful hotel with a long history. It was founded in 1909 and has retained its identity, imbued with the entire history of France, from royalty to the present day. The room is typically French small, but has all the facilities for a stay including a very comfortable bed. We ordered breakfast in the room and they brought us very fresh and delicious pastries, starting with fresh baguettes in various types, croissants, and other famous French buns. Even if we had no desire to eat, it was impossible not to be tempted. :)) We had dinner at the restaurant and also celebrated my birthday. The cuisine exceeded my expectations, with very refined and beautifully presented dishes. And most importantly - it was delicious! Thank you very much to the chef! Used the sauna as well, it was mostly very quiet and we were able to relax. In front of the hotel is Grand beach, a lovely bay, and a shore for swimming and relaxing.

Warm peaceful atmosphere. Could see the sea from our room. Good location to the beach, shops and restaurants. Good breakfast, nice little walled garden where you could have breakfast, weather permitting, which unfortunately was not an option while we were there. Staff very friendly from front of house to staff working behind the scenes, chambermaid etc.

Excellent location, a few minutes from the coast and the centre, yet it remain a little oasis. On entering through the gates into the grounds it feels calming. The staff are wonderful, customer service in a friendly way is at the centre of their business. We booked one of the rooms in the main building and were allocated room 2. Our bags were taken to our room and we were shown around the hotel and grounds. The room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy and the air conditioning worked very well as we were there during a heat wave. Our room had a dressing room which lead into a huge bathroom, which had a large shower and double sinks. There is plenty of shelves and storage in the bathroom for person item. The towels provided were thick and great quality. We were given additional towel to use by the pool. The Internet is good and stable. The area around the pool has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. There are some in the shade as well. The pool was very clean and heated. We watched each morning as it was checked and cleaned. The restaurant is by the pool in a separate building. We had breakfast as part of our deal, plenty of choice, fresh and good quality. We did not eat at the restaurant of a night so cannot comment. There is parking with a small fee is payable. We were allocated a dedicated space which was in the shade. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at the Parc Victoria, it was a perfect stay. Thank you to the staff who all made it enjoyable.

Nice uncrowded beach getaway.

Nice uncrowded beach getaway. Good place to base out of as its close to Biarritz and San Sebastien. After visiting most of the Basque Coast St. Jean de Luz was nice place to come back to as it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The town had very nice shops and an attractive square with dining all around.

It was tranquil and full of life! The beach was beautiful and clean, loved the old town, beautiful drinks in the sunset, just lovely. Easy access to Pays Basque and Sans Sebastien for a day trip. Easy to drive to from other places.

It was a lovely little city.

It was a lovely little city. A good place to take a break before heading on to Paris. If I go there again I may stay a few more days. Also the absolute best baked goods I’ve tasted. The church were Louis XIV married was beautiful too.

A lovely stay in a beautiful town at Hotel Le Relais Saint-Jacques. Opposite the railway station and main bus stops makes it very convenient. A short walk to the river, the beach and the old town. A quiet courtyard facing room with a very comfortable bed. Friendly and responsive staff made my stay very enjoyable. I would recommend staying at Hotel Le Relais St Jacques.

First of all, the locality was really great. We could get to the beach as well as to the city centre by walking under 10 minutes. The hotel itself was very nice and modern, big roomy balcony was a plus. One of the best experience there was invitation by receptionist Sandra who explained everything to us with a smile and positive energy.

The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is straight across the road from the train station which was ideal for us. It was very welcoming and nicely decorated. It only takes about 15 minutes to reach the beach and places to eat.

The bed was so comfortable. The hotel is very close to the main route from Spain/ up into France (a few minutes drive) yet the hotel is quiet. The fact that dogs are very welcome made it even better..
