Very helpful and friendly staff. A good breakfast of muesli, yoghurt, fruit , meat cheese, bread and pastries. A large secure garage to store bikes. Room was a good size clean and comfortable. Ideally located close to the town centre. A 5 minute walk takes you to a large supermarket and numerous restaurants. Check in and check out was very efficient.

Dominique is a lovely hostess. She is super helpful, and very kind. She even gave us a lift to the train station! The check-in and -out was very easy, and the rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was very good as well! I also liked the common-areas where we could do our own cooking, and watch TV. The price was very good for such a great location. It was close to many restaurants and the city-center, but quiet nevertheless. I would definitely recommend her B&B to everyone visiting St. Jean de Maurienne.

Isabelle and Arnaud were excellent hosts — very helpful and friendly, we felt completely at home. The room was comfortable, and the house offers a common room with a kitchenette. There is also a secure bike room with hangers and tools, as well as a small but well-equipped gym available on request. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and pastries. We also really appreciated the eco-friendly approach: the owners recycle and collect water, which we liked very much. We will be happy to return on our next visit — with great pleasure!

It's a very nice little town.

It's a very nice little town. I was mainly for cycling, there are plenty of options nearby. I loved the place for that. I will go back next year. We ate kebabs and pizza in the surrounding restaurants, and sometimes we cooked in the apartment. We did not use public transport, or traveled by car or bicycle. There is a kebab place two corners down, the maxi tacos, you have to try them, they are very delicious.

Perfect town to base yourself for cycling many bucket list climbs though a car is handy to drive to Aple d'Huez and Bessens for other climbs. Still don't get why France shuts down from 12.30 on a Sunday as there are so many good restaurants but not opened when really needed. We really rate the local Indochina restaurant - food superb and cheap.

Absolutely superb in all ways. The staff were lovely and you could tell cared about the hotel and guests. Loads of little touches that make things better e.g. usb sockets in room, great shower, warm, thick curtains so daylight not an issue, really quiet even though lots of guess, great buffet breakfast constantly replenished, loads of bike storage (motorbikes too), own car park, centre of town. Absolutely loved staying here - all of this comes from the great staff - MERCI BEACOUP A VOUS TOUS!

The view and location was great. The staff was even more pleasant to deal with and very honest and trustworthy people. We enjoyed the breakfast as well (at the time was open from 7:30-9:30am) Truly appreciated the fact that they spoke a bit of English and communication was quick and easy even before we got to the hotel Something to be mindful of (for those not familiar with the culture) is that most places are closed in the afternoon between 11:30/noon to 2pm

We had a lovely short stay here. We didn't lack anything. Our room and the view were magnificent. We were also spoiled with the food here. It is definitely advisable to book breakfast and dinner as well. The hostess was extremely friendly. We can only recommend the hotel and would book it again at any time.

Friendly, helpful staff. The location is great for walking into town. Ample parking behind the hotel, The food is basic but nothing was too much trouble. My son is vegetarian and although there was nothing vegetarian on the menu an omelette was rustled up willingly.
