This place is absolutely super. First of all it is located very near to the starting point of your camino. When arriving you will receive a warm welcome by Laurie. She is feeling yourself at home immediately, making your start of the Camino memorable. She is open for a chat with a cup of tea to have some fun. Some years ago, She and her husband moved from busy London to medieval saint jean pied the port. The complete house is renovated and made luxurious. This place is the last change on the Camino to have quiet place to sleep.

The location of this accommodation was so cool--we were out in the country on a farm. It was like staying in a traditional farm house. The decorations were cool and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The whole house was decorated beautifully and the breakfast was scrumptious. We had fresh breads, homemade yogurt, juice, coffee and preserves! Everything was lovely.

Cristina is an amazing host; although they had an unexpected personal issue; she made sure we were greeted and shown the property on a timely manner . We all loved the place; it has a cozy and warm salon/dinner area were the owners very you can have an apperitif ; a great balcony to relax in warmer weather, and a lovely park around the property. We also loved the fact that on every corner we could find very interesting reference books (some in French, Spanish, English and or Basque); the bedrooms are spacious , well kept and tastefully decorated. We loved the breakfast , not only copious but truly tasty and with Cristina's personal touch. We will definetely recommend and will comeback soon to discover more of the beautiful Basque Countryside
