The location suited us very well. Rosaline and Jean Pierre were utterly amazing and gave us an excellent two nights. I couldn't recommend this more highly and we will definitely stay again when we are over next.

This is an exceptional place to stay. The host and her chef husband are delightful people and make you feel really relaxed and at home. We were treated like royalty and given the most delicious evening meal, breakfast and scrumptious picnic to enjoy the next day. What a stylish and beautifully decorated home, and what hospitable and charming hosts. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Welcoming hosts, very attentive and friendly. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed (no plastic undersheet thankfully, I find them most uncomfortable). Monsieur recommended a local restaurant which was very traditional and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent, crepes made with Calvados, homemade confiture, cheese and fresh bread plus some small cakes somewhat like madeleines (I think they were called called “financiers“). On the morning of our departure we were invited to pick walnuts from the tree in the garden, which we promptly did. Plastic bags were even supplied! When we returned home the walnuts were dried and they were absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.

My husband, our two dogs, and I arrived here as weary travelers from New York, carrying the bittersweet feeling of being untethered from our home and community as we begin a new life in a new country. What we found with Eric and Nathalie was not just a place to stay, but a true welcome into their warmth and generosity. From the moment we stepped inside and discovered the homemade tarts waiting for us, we knew this little home had been built with love. Every detail, every corner of the gîte, spoke of thoughtfulness, care, and the quiet beauty of country living. The kitchen held everything we needed, the rooms embraced us with comfort, and the spirit of the place made us feel settled in a way we hadn’t expected so soon after such a big move. Eric and Nathalie have a gift for hospitality that goes far beyond accommodation; they have created a place where you can feel both cared for and free to simply be. We came as guests and leave as friends, friends I know we’ll look forward to keeping in touch with. This gîte is a haven not only for travelers seeking rest, but also for anyone longing for peace, comfort, and the gentle magic of the French countryside. Thank you, Eric and Nathalie, for everything, we will never forget it.

Excellent stay in this great conversion. Clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a sauna. Nice outdoor sitting area too. Away from it all so very quiet at night. We highly recommend this accommodation!

My stay was perfect. The house is owned by a really nice old man, who keeps everything clean. The neighborhood is amazing, you have incredible sights, his garden is beautiful and the whole mood is really sweet and refreshing.

Nice place but for just a short stay, I guess there is...

Nice place but for just a short stay, I guess there is hardly much to do in the surroundings - maybe biking. The main tourist attractions and the ocean are pretty far from here. But as a stop on a tour it is very good and not far from the main highway from Bretagne to Rouen.
