The whole experience has been wonderful. The appartment was clean, light and, functional and nicely put together. I was traveling with my mum (who we found out snores -a lot!) and requested if it was possible to have an extra bed and duvet. The owners were very helpful and provided everything free of charge.

Beautiful old style house with incredible hosts! We had a wonderful stay at Clos de Chalmon. It's a very quiet place in the countryside, the rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. Great attention to details by the hosts. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts super welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend :)

The Chateau de Valette is a beautiful estate in the Dordogne countryside with lots of surprises, affectionate pets, natural beauty and wildlife. The warm and friendly owners, Christine and Richard, provided us with the relaxing week our family needed, and offered lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. The chateau is a comfortable, welcoming space and the breakfast room is open all day for snacks. Fresh produce from the chateau gardens are available in the breakfast room, as well as a variety of teas developed just for the chateau. The rooms are beautiful and beds are very comfortable. Simply a lovely place to call home for a while.
