Typical french small town Infinitely preferable to Le mans itself Haven't had time to do much exploring as only visited twice A good stopping off point on the Calais to Bordeaux road Better visited in the spring or summer than winter

We loved everything about this place.

We loved everything about this place. The breakfasts were exceptional and it was good to have the use of a kettle in our room. There was a spacious bathroom with a very good shower and a separate toilet. Nearby in Sargé village there is a restaurant, L’Escale, where very good meals are served. at lunchtime. For us easy access to Le Mans city and the 24 Heures du Mans circuit was important. We travelled by car and tram in Le Mans. Apparently Sargé is well served by buses but we didn’t use them.
