We spent one night at this hotel and both found it was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in large or small anywhere in the world. Truly exceptional. The service is top class. The restaurant was friendly and served excellent food. The room was beautifully appointed and completely clean. The staff were both efficient and friendly and found out within minutes whether the nearby road over the Col de Tourmalet was open when we had failed to find the information ourselves.

We booked the hotel last minute as a prior booking cancelled at very short notice. The hotel is as described, easy to find, comfortable, clean, great location. The hotel is family run, they were absolutely lovely and so helpful. The owner took time out to tell us about Cauterets history the history of local buildings and whilst only he spoke English it was easy to communicate. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
