The location is perfect! Parking in front of the gite and within 2 minutes you are in the center. The host is super friendly and helpful. And the gite is impeccible. So clean and fresh! The beds are really nice and the little kitchen is very complete with some tea and coffee. The backery for buying your breakfast is about 5 minutes walk. Also the wifi is fast. All together it is a lovely stay in a lovely village in a lovely gite!

Our room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, respecting the historic building, and spotlessly clean. The location in the heart of the old town is absolutely gorgeous. The croissants and coffee served for breakfast were the best we've ever had! Make sure to eat at their restaurant too, the food was delicious. The owners are incredibly friendly, we felt so welcome and would definitely stay at La Bohème again.

Le Castel Ecossais was a wonderful b&b to spend the last night of my trip. Only a 30 minute drive to CDG airport. An elegant and historic building in the old town, it was perfect in every way. The hosts were charming and helpful, and shared with me more of the building’s history. I loved my room with its four poster bed and dressing room that helped with packing. It was quiet and comfortable, with a lovely garden view, an excellent breakfast and parking in the courtyard.

Perfect location for a night's rest on our Christmas trek up from Toulouse to Amsterdam. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, bathroom and kitchen downstairs. The historic center of Senslis is amazing.

The historic center of Senslis is amazing. It can (and has) been used as a movie set for many historical feature films. Tuesday morning the farmers market occupied most of the streets, complementing the many specialty stores selling fromages, charcuteries, and fruits/vegetables. It is not touristic at all, no souvenir shops or postcard stands ... just offers a walk back in history - a true gem.

Senlis is a nice small relaxing town to visit.

Senlis is a nice small relaxing town to visit. Near Chantilly and only about 30 minutes from CDG especially if driving and are not planning on going into Paris. we were there over Sunday and Monday so a lot of restaurants are closed. Recommend Chez Nous and Porte Bellon (very nice and open Monday)

The lodging was clean. The staff was very friendly and were especially helpful with directions. I spent a day in the town of Senlis exploring the ancient streets and enjoying a nice meal. Senlis is very close to Chateau Chantilly.

We always end our trips to France with Senlis. The Chinese restaurant (le Nouvel Iris d'Or) there is delicious, and the Cathedral fascinating. We love that they have kept the cobblestone streets in the historic center.

We stayed one night on a cycling holiday, very comfortable. Wish there had been a kettle. The staff were outstanding, helping us to lock our bikes away safely and opening up again when my husband left a bit of kit behind. They really went out of their way. Please do pass on our thanks. 20 minute walk into Senlis. Were lucky enough to catch the market and bought an incredible picnic.

A beautiful, medieval city, of which we only scratched the surface. Certainly worth talking a full walking tour around the city...it is simply breathtaking with ancient architecture and fabulous cobbled streets. We ate at a lovely restaurant in the evening, with great food and wine and a buzzing atmosphere...would return to Senlis!

The great apartment, in the center of old town Senlis. The apartment is very tastefully furnished, with avlot of interesting pieces of furniture , very spacious. From the windows there is a view on the city.. The owner is very friendly. We arrived earlier and were able to go to the apartment right away. I visit the beautiful town of Senlis every year and I will definitely come back to this apartment. I fell in love with the apartment, I felt very comfortable here . The best accommodation ever.

How wonderful to stumble on this gem of a place. Excellent communication and greeting on arrival, the lovely cosy rooms and wonderful breakfast. Location is perfect for enjoying both Senlis (easy walk) and surrounding areas including Chantilly. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and staying in such a unique and historic building was a rare treat for us (in Australia we have “historic” buildings 200 years younger than this manor!

The location is excellent and adjacent to a Tesla charger. The restaurant was much better than expected and the staff helpful. Central Senlis is a gem, about 15 minutes walk.
