Me & my dog enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful rural location. But I loved the sense of historic time travel provided by the chateau and its grounds....The gite itself is full of historic features. That said, the modern bathroom was appreciated; as was the well-equipped kitchen, with particularly large cooker. The bed seemed to be a king size and was comfortable; slept well....I found Hieke to be a very open and personable character. She's happy to have those little chats. As the hostess, she respects her guest’s privacy but is always there should help be require. Thank you.

The hosts are generous and welcoming. The accommodation has been restored beautifully and is very comfortable. There are walks to go on in the locale around farmland and neighbouring forest. It was calm and tranquil for our stay and we also spent time lazing on lounges enjoying the stunning view. Thank you Pierre and Isabelle. We’ll come again one day.

Very quiet and rural in the countryside. Close to Aubusson. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious. Our room upon arrival was warm. Lovely home cooked meals. All vegetables come from their own garden. You can taste the difference. Very kind owners Nathalie and Jean Claude. Very pet friendly. Allowed our little Sausage to wander all over the property and the host giving him a lot of attention. Very cozy with one large dining room table with open fire where the owners and all guests sit, eat and talk together.
