If you want a family business supporting the locals stay here .you can get up in the morning and walk 20ft to beach for a swim and come back to breakfast. Breakfast was a lovely fresh local cheese , fresh fruit , meats and breads , plenty of choice as usual juice , yogurt cereals And the coffee was superb. The room was small but clean and comfortable for our 4 night stay.the location was fantastic and we left our valuables there as we went to the beach and out at night it felt very safe.you even get offered beach chairs to lounge in the sun. The bar was well stocked and and much cheaper than 300 yards across town. If you want to spend 4 days very relaxed , all we done was the beach the cafe / bar and out to town for food and long lovely walks stay here. And back for a nice ice cream and lovely wine to end our night. The price reflects the accommodation no fancy frills, but superb service and superb quality for money. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and his family will be back. Love a local business.

Hotel was extremely central , room was clean , staff were lovely and good value for money. We didn’t pay for breakfast as there was a bakery across the street that had fresh croissants and coffee Hotel was extremely accessible, we didn’t have a complaint Restaurants, bars , shops, beach and main bus route within 5 minute walk

There are several sweeping wide beach areas in beach do never really crowded. Comfortable sunloybfers for hire The main town area pedestrianised and safe. Family friendly low key resort. No clubs or bars so not for those seeking nightlife

Second visit to Valras-Plage-- first time we went we loved...

Second visit to Valras-Plage-- first time we went we loved it so had to return! Small and comfortable, more for locals than internationals. Very affordable as well with cheap meals and cheap accommodation. It is becoming more touristy however, with flights coming in from London, Manchester, Dusseldorf and Brussels. Beach is expansive and calm. Feels very safe in the waters. The sand is lovely and soft. The weather when good, is great for sun lounging. Local shops sell souvenirs. Local restaurants provide great tasting meals at great prices. Very filling! Many flavours of ice cream to try! A 45-50 minute bus ride away from Beziers for €1 if you want to visit city sights! We were too tired to check the night life in Valras-Plage, but most shops close at 7pm and restaurants close at 10pm-ish. Our accommodation was close to the shops and it sounded quiet and calm which is nice if you want a relaxing holiday.

Everything about the hotel was excellent.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. I lived in the area in the nineties so I knew how to get around. The choice of restaurants near the hotel was super although we chose the restaurant next door for our evening meals. I highly recommend the Mira-Mar Hotel.

There is a long sandy beach which is ideal for walking and plenty of car parks nearby, There are many eating and drinking places located along the sea front. It seems to be an ideal spot for rod fishing as well.

Stunning apt with huge balcony overlooking the ocean. All high end, no complaints . Note, toilet is seperate as with allot of older buildngs. Enjoyed walking around the promenade and gazing at the water.

The sand is brilliant, perfect for long walks along the...

The sand is brilliant, perfect for long walks along the coast. The sea is shallow, great for taking a dip but not ideal for swimming. (We did see some people snorkeling but we didn't do it ourselves.) There are some family-friendly amenities like some playgrounds right on the beach. The restaurants are good and some of them even offer some fresh seafood from the morning's catch. It did get a bit too windy sometimes, and although we were there in the off-season, I have the feeling that it can get very crowded during the summer.

Our room overlooked the beach and was nicely air conditioned keeping the room very comfortable even with outside temperatures reaching to over 30 degrees C. Breakfast was good at 11 Euro per person per day. It was nice to be able to sit on the hotels terrace and watch the world go by.

The location was perfect, so close to the beach and away from the noise of the town. Free WiFi, good size bedrooms, great balcony views from one bedroom and the lounge. Access to the property was very secure and we felt that our belongings were safe when we went out
