Great location with an amazing view of the Alps. The host is very friendly. Which may make some people uncomfortable, but we really had fun. Room was spotless clean, so was the garden. Breakfast was great with a variety of cheese, fruits and (not very often found) great coffee. We will definitely like to pass by again either on our way to Spain / Côte d'Azur or, maybe, even for a longer stay to explore the area.

The paper thin walls gave us ample Opportunity to get to know our fellow travellers inner monologue. The pillows soaked up my tears rather well.

The hotel has a 24h reception which mean that you can check in any time and you can also check out anytime . In our case we arrived at the hotel around 10pm and the checkin was very smooth and the reception is very friendly . The hotel is with gate so if your traveling/roadtrip and you want to have an overnight stop this hotel is very recommendable and they have a free/safe parking for your car. The hotel is also with breakfast included to the price when you book it. the cheese was very delicious for me i love it.

    A generous host with a big personality!

    A generous host with a big personality! The room was comfortable: it could have benefited from bedside lights either side of the bed. The shower head needs to be fitted into the wall so that you can wash your body under the falling water, rather than holding the shower head. A shower cubicle rather than a curtain would have been better, and the towel rail could do with fixing. Please don't send people to Vérenay - it's at the bottom of steep, windy lanes up to the house. It should be approached from St.Cyr sur le Rhône. And please put up some signs to indicate that you've arrived at the house. The 3 white columns the owner told us to look for are inside his garden...
